１１月２２日（木）のリハーサルと２３日子ども未来フェスタの報告（Rehearsal and Festa report)

１１月２２日（木）のリハーサル

なかはら子ども未来フェスタの説明とリハーサルは国際交流センターで２回ありました。　参加者は毎回同じ日本人母子５組、外国人５組だけでした。
たった１回のリハーサルではうまくいく訳がないですが、今までブログやGmailで説明してきたのでやり方は理解できていると思います。　みんなで考え、工夫して時間を計りました。

「英語であそぼう」は出だしのスーパーマンの曲を２５秒で止めること。　英語の遊びは２回繰り返すことなどが決まりました。　ベレンさんと４時半に待ち合わせて区役所の会場で約３０分間リハーサルをしてきました。　さて、本番は・・・？

１１月２３日（金・祝）なかはら子ども未来フェスタ

９時３０分～４５分に区役所別館（保健所）に集合。　大人２１名、子供２３名がそれぞれの民族衣装に着替えました。　子供たちはきれいに着飾ったママを見て、いつもと違う雰囲気に固まっていました。「ママ達、きれいだね～。」　着崩れしないうちに集合写真を撮りました。
「間違ってもいいから笑顔でファッションショーを楽しみましょう！！」と会場に移動しました。

　
１、世界の民族衣装ファッションショー
ママと手をつないでステージのマイクに向い「こんにちは」を国の言葉で言いました。　泣く子や暴れる子がいなくてスムーズにショーが終わりました。　みんな素晴らしかったよ。　初めてとは思えないほどでした。

２、英語であそぼう！
ベレンさんとユキ君がスーパーマンの曲で登場。　スーパーガールは赤いミニスカート、４歳のスーパーマン・ユキ君もかっこいいね～。
最初から英語だけで声掛けしました。　MCも英語で答えました。
会場の子供たちも立ち上がって英語の手遊び歌をしてくれました。　１歳～３歳のコアラの子供たちもステージで一生懸命踊りました。　かわいかったね！♡　♡

３、フラダンス
全員がフラワーレイをつけて、後ろで応援しました。
コアラ代表がフラダンスをして、最後はみんなで「ありがとう、さようなら」の挨拶をして終わりました。

控室に戻っても興奮が収まりませんでした。　区役所からいただいた参加賞のクッキーと「コアラ」からお菓子の袋を子供たちに配りました。

　

見に来ていた人からの感想；
「コアラ」は珍しい。こんな団体は見たことが無かった。　川崎市には一つだけ・・・？
異文化交流として子供達の勉強になる。　世界１１か国の民族衣装と説明、文字まであり、とても興味深かった。　英語も普段聞くことが無いから刺激的。　もっといろんな場所で発表して欲しい。

Nov. 22 (Thurs.) Rehearsal

We had two times of the explanation of Nakahara Kodomo Mirai Festa and it's rehearsal at the International Center.  Only each five Japanese and Foreign moms and children were attended.  There was no way to succeed only one rehearsal but I explained how to do on the stage through Blog and Gmail so far.
We thought up a good way to handle a situation.
"Play in English"
Stop Superman song at 25 seconds.  It was decided music of play in English repeat twice.  Belen and I went to the Ward Office Festa site to fix the music and dance from 4:30~5:00.  Well, what will happen acting for an audience!?

Nov. 23(Fri.) Nakahara Kodomo Mirai Festa

Gathered 9:30~9:45am at the annex to the ward office (health center).  Mothers 21 and children 23 were changing into world costumes.  Children looked upset when mothers dressed up.  How beautiful mothers were!
We took photo all together before came loose.  "Let's enjoy Fashion Show if you might mistake your part, don't worry."  We moved to 5th floor.

1, The World Costume Fashion Show
Mom and child were on the stage and said "Hello" in their languages.  There were no crying and acting up kids.  The show was smoothly finished.  Good job, everyone.

2, Play in English
Appeared Belen and Yuki with Superman music.  Super girl wore a red skirt and 4 year-old Superman Yuki were so cool!!  Belen spoke English, no Japanese.  MC replied in English.  Children among audience were standing up and sung and danced with us.  Koala children 1~3 years old also danced earnestly.  What awesome children they are!!

3, Hula dance
Koala members wore Flower Lei.  Yonezawa performed Hawaiian Hula.  At the end of the stage, we showed "thanks and good-bye"

After we returned to a waiting room, our excitement couldn't cool down.  I gave cookies from the Ward office and a bag of sweets from Koala to children.

Feedback from the audience;
"KOALA" is extraordinarily group.  I've never seen such group so far.  Is this only one in Kawasaki city?  Your performances help children to get experience of different cultures.  Traditional costumes from 11 countries and its explanation and its letter were of great interest.  We've seldom heard English that made us stimulating.  You should make your performances known to the public more and more.
