９月３日夏休みはどのように過ごしましたか？＆エプロンシアターの報告（How did you spend your summer holiday? & Apron Theater)

子供達は好きなおもちゃで遊んでいました。

＠　一人ひとり夏休みの過ごし方をお話しして貰いました。

Fさん　コアラ卒業生のママ。子供が中国に行った。

Hさん　どこにも行かなかった。図書館で借りられる材料を探し、団体登録をした。コアラが

　　　　初めての団体登録と聞いてびっくりした。エプロンシアターを借りてきました。

Sさん　お相撲が好きで川崎で行われた場所で「横綱おおの里」と写真が取れて嬉しかった。

Uさん　引っ越しの為、夏休みは忙しかった。

Nさん　故郷へ行った。西武遊園地や葉山ソレイユの丘は素晴らしかった。

Kさん　英語に興味があるので参加。虫が気になりコインランドリーで洗濯した。

Kさん　ドラエモン祭りや花火大会をみて楽しんだ。

Tさん　みなとみらいの花火大会、アンパンマンミュージアム、お台場に行き楽しかった。

米澤：　韓国シニア英語サークルでお世話になっている教授にお礼をする為に韓国に行っ

　　　　た。先生の故郷ポリョン市で表敬訪問し市長さんからランチパーティをして貰

　　　　いました。　MUD　Festivalが有名です。

＠　誕生会：

Eちゃん　１才、　S君　２才　お誕生日おめでとうございます。　コアラバースデーカードとコアラメダルをさしあげます。　皆で「ハッピーバースデイの歌」を歌ってお二人の成長をお祝いしましょう。　１才と２歳ではお祝いされる反応が違います。　たった１年しか違ないのに。Eちゃん　来年を楽しみにしています。

Children played their favorite toys.

@ Members talked about how to spend their summer holiday one by one. 

F san: A mother of a graduate.  Her daughter went to China.

H san: She was not going anywhere. She looked for materials that She could borrow from the library and registered Koala group with the library. Koala was a first group to resister.

Lend the material of Apron theater.

S san: She love Sumo Wrestler.  She took the photo with the Grand Champion OONOSATO.

U san:  She was very busy because of moving to new house.

N san: Back to hometown.   visited Seibu amusement park and Hayama Soleil hill.

K san: is interested in English. She was worried about bugs, so she did laundry at a laundromat.

K san: enjoyed the Doraemon Festival and the fireworks display.

T san: The fireworks display at Minatomirai.  Anpanman museum, Odaiba.

Yonezawa: I went to Korea to show my gratitude to English teacher.  I belong to Korean Senior English club.  We had curtesy visit to Boryeong city to the Mayer.  He served Lunch party for us.  Famous for Mud Festival.

E chan, one year old girl and S kun, two years old boy.　Happy Birthday to you！

I give you Koala Birthday card and Koala Medal.　Let’s sing a song "Happy Birthday to you" together hoping their happiness.  There was a big difference in their reactions to being celebrated, even though they are only one year apart. E chan, I am looking forward to seeing your action next year.

７月３０日スイカ割りと金魚釣りの報告（Split-the-watermelon & scooping Goldfish)

 夏休みの為、コアラ卒業生も参加してスイカ割りをしました。

スイカ割りの準備が出来るまで子供達は折り紙の金魚釣りを楽しみました。

マットを汚さない様にビニールシートの上に紙も広げて準備しました。　子供達は大きなスイカを触ったり、叩いたりしていました。　棒で叩いてもなかなか割れません。　日本語、中国語、タガログ語、英語で右、左、前と教えていました。結局、卒業生のお兄さん達が割りました。

歓声が上がりました。皆大喜び。割れたスイカを小さく切って皆で食べました。甘くておいしかった。

K君の保育園入園が決まりましたので今日で卒業です。　卒業記念の金メダルとプレゼントを差し上げました。K君はパパと参加しました。毎回欠かさず参加しました。笑顔が可愛くて皆に愛されました。時間がある時に又コアラに遊びに来て下さいね。

It’s summer holiday time, so we enjoyed a Suika-wari (Watermelon-Splitting) with some of the Koala’s graduates.

While we were getting ready, the children had fun playing an origami goldfish-catching game.

To keep the mat from getting dirty, we spread out some paper on top of a plastic sheet to prepare. They loved touching and tapping the big watermelon. Everyone called out directions in Japanese, Chinese, Tagalog and English, but it was much harder to break than they expected!!  In the end, the elder boys who had graduated from Koala sprit them!!

Everyone cheered and was so happy! We then shared small pieces of the watermelon together. It was so sweet and delicious.

Today was also K’s last day at Koala before starting nursery school. We gave him a gold medal and a small gift to celebrate. K came with his dad. He never missed a Koala day!!

We will miss his lovely smile.  We hope K will come back to visit us someday!

７月２日夏祭り＆七夕祭りの報告（The Summer Festival ＆The Star Festival）

 雨の中、会員は早めに来て会場作りをしました。

いつもの様にマットを敷いておもちゃを出しました。　

＊　子供達が遊んでいる間に私達は七夕祭りの笹竹をホワイトボードに縛り付けました。

＊　ブルーシートの上に折り紙の金魚を置いて魚釣りゲームをしました。　家族そろって沢山の金魚を釣っていました。

＊　お菓子屋さんでは紐に繋がれたお菓子を引っ張ります。　どんなお菓子が入っているかな？

＊　たらいでプールは・・たらいの中に色とりどりのボールを入れてその中で遊びました。

＊　トイレットペーパーの芯でボーリングはボールを投げてピンを倒します。

みんな楽しく遊びました。

誕生会：

In the rain, Members came to Koala site and prepared for our Summer Festival.  We spread mats and put toys on it.

* While children played with toys, we fastened the bamboo tree to white board for the Star Festival.

* We put Origami goldfishes on the blue sheet and started to fish with family.  They fished many goldfishes.

* At the sweet shop, children pull a string and a bag of sweet came.  What kind of sweet was in?

* A washbowl pool・・・put colorful balls in a washbowl and child played into it.

* Bowling game ・・Throw a ball to knock down the toilet paper pins.

We were satisfied with the Summer Festival.

Birthday Party:

K chan, one year old girl.  Happy Birthday to you.  Give you Koala Birthday card and Koala Medal.  Let's sing a song "Happy Birthday to you" together.  Let's pray for her happiness and growth.  she can get along with anyone and is everyone's idol.

６月２５日夏祭りの準備の報告（Prepare for Summer Festival)

 いつもの様にマットを敷いておもちゃを出しました。

* 絵本の読み聞かせ（From Head to Toe by Eric Carle)

* せんサリーバッグ作り（ジップロック、保冷剤、ハサミ、油性カラーペン、絵の具、スパンコール、ビーズ、ポンポンなど）皆で持ち寄り子供達の為に作りました。

*ボーリングピン作り（トイレットペーパーの芯に絵を書く）

* Making Sensory bag (Ziploc, Ice pack, Scissors, Permanent marker, Paint, Sequins, Beads and Pom-poms).  Each of us brought to make for children.
