11月25日エプロンシアター（6ヶ国語）の報告（Apron Theater)

急に冷えてきたせいか、体調を崩している人が多いようです。気をつけてくださいね。　
コアラの出席者も日本人5組、外国人6組でした。　
エプロンシアターは瀬川さんがエプロンをつけ兎、象、猫の人形を操ってくれました。物語はとても単純ですので1歳の子供も笑っていました。

中国語とカンボジア語以外の担当者は予定していた人が休みましたので代わりの人がやりました。　
言葉は分からなくても音の響きを楽しみました。
スパ二ーさんは初めて参加しましたが「やれそう！」と代役を引き受けてくれました。有難うございました。
皆さんお疲れ様でした。

コアラ優良団体の部で表彰されましたので保健婦の高山さんとえずらさんがお祝いに来てくださいました。

劉さんの愛娘彩華ちゃんの誕生日会をしました。8月4日生まれですが中国に帰っていましたので今日誕生日をお祝いしました。笑顔の可愛い彩華ちゃん、おめでとう。皆に祝福してもらい嬉しそうです。


Since it was the cold for the last two weeks, some members were out of shape. Please take care of yourself. Five Japanese couples of mother and child and six Foreign couples got together. The apron theater manipulated Rabbit, Elephant and Cat's dolls with putting on of Segawa san's apron. One-year-old children also were laughing because the story was very simple. Japanese charge:Sato san, English charge:Yonezawa, Tagalog charge:Marina san, Chinese charge:Kou san, Cambodian charge:Rinet san, Thai charge:Supany san.
People who were scheduling to play were absent except Chinese and Cambodian so that
other members took the place of 4 languages charge. We enjoyed the sound of the foreign languages though it was not understood. Supany san participated for the first time said that she seemed to be able to do. She covered Thai language in stead of absentee.

Public health nurses Takayama san and Ezura san came for congratulation because the Koala meeting had been commended as an excellent group in Kawasaki.
We had a birthday party for Aayaka chan of Ryu san's daughter. She was born in Aug. 4. The birth was congratulated today because they returned to China.
With a smile lovely, Aayaka chan, Congratulations. She seemed to be glad for everyone to bless.

消防署見学のお知らせ Koala on 12/2 Dec.2

コアラメンバーのみなさまへ

12/2（木）のコアラは、中原消防署見学を行います。
普段はなかなか見られない、興味深いところが沢山見られるようです。

雨天で延期の場合は、当日の朝8:00までにメールします。
※雨天延期の場合、予備日を12/16に予定しています。その場合、コアラのミーティングは中原福祉パルでいつも通り行います。

【祝】川崎市保健衛生功労者表彰式の報告 The awarding ceremony

11月18日（木）エポック中原で『川崎市保健衛生功労者表彰式』がありました。
国際子育てひろば『コアラ』は地域保健優良団体の部で川崎市長より表彰されました。代表の米澤悦子と副代表の藤原錦芳（中国）さんの二人で出席しました。
会場には授与する側、受賞される人達とその関係者で40名ほど集まっていました。　
7月に保健婦さんたちからノミネートの話がありました。私は「別に表彰されてもされなくてもどちらでもいいですよ」と素っ気ない返事をしていました。14年7ヶ月もコアラを運営し、多くの外国人母子を助けてきた事や世界女性会議に参加し情報収集、自分磨きをして来た事が認められたようです。
私はコアラが表彰されなければ川崎市に『功労者表彰式』がある事さえも知りませんでした。今年で50年目の節目の年だそうです。
会場で「おめでとうございます」と言われました。花束を抱いて喜んでいる受賞団体を見て「これはすごい事なのだ！名誉な事なのだ！」と思えるようになりました。これで『コアラ』も川崎市のボランティア団体として認められた事になります。今頃になって嬉しさがふつふつと沸いて来ました。
25日のコアラの日に表彰状と記念品のフォートスタンドを持参しますので見てください。


Congratulations on Koala at the awarding ceremony.
The awarding ceremony conducted at "Epoch Nakahara" on November 18. The International Parents and Infants cross cultural group KOALA was recognized as the excellent group by Kawasaki city. Mayor of Kawasaki rewarded us Koala past services with testimonial and favors. President Etsuko Yonezawa and Vice president Kinpo Fujiwara attended the awarding ceremony. There were 40 people including presenter, city officials and prize receivers.

Some district nurses nominated for me Koala group in July. I replied them curtly that whether I received a prize or not, I wouldn't care.
I have manged Koala for 14 years 7 months and have been supporting a lot of foreign mothers and children. I attended the World women's conference and got various information and kept studying. These were commended by the local government. I didn't know the awarding ceremony in Kawasaki if I wouldn't receive this prize. The awarding ceremony continued for the past 50 years. People said to us "Congratulations." We saw some group members who were delighted to have testimonial and bouquet. We noticed that this must be great and honorable thing. The volunteer group "KOALA" was recognized a excellent group by the Kawasaki city.

11月11日お菓子を食べながらおしゃべり報告（Let's chat with friends about children over confectionery.)

いつものようにマットを敷いて玩具箱を出すと子供達は夢中で遊びました。
ママ達はおしゃべりしながら情報交換や友達作りをしました。
日本人親子5組、外国人親子6組の参加でした。
ハロウィンパーティで初めてコアラに参加してくれたカンボジアのキープリネットさん、中村あきさん、ようこそコアラへ！

In our usual way we spread the mat on the floor and put toy boxes. Children were absorbed in playing toys. Mamas chatted with members about child raising information. Participant were 5 couples of Japanese mother and children and 6 couples of foreign mother and children. Ms. Aki Nakamura and Ms. Rinet Keep from Cambodia who first visited at Halloween Party were welcome to Koala!

We celebrated Birthday.

They got Birthday cards from Koala members. We sang "Happy Birthday to you" together.
Erina 1 year old girl danced to song with cheerful mood. They got party favors.

11月6日（土）さつまいも掘り報告（Sweet potato digging)

雲ひとつ無い青空の中、森田さんの畑に外国人8家族、日本人5家族、総勢36名が集まりました。
畑を知っている人は直接畑へ、分からない人は中原駅で待ち合わせしました。
1家族300円の参加費でした。

畑は空気が良くて、太陽の恵みで背中はポカポカと暖かくなり汗ばんできました。
お店で売っているさつまいもの３倍ぐらいある巨大な芋を掘り当てました。




砂まみれになり子供達は歓声をあげて喜んでいました。
1時間もするとみんな掘り起こしてしまいました。
皆で取れたさつまいもを分け合って持ち帰りました。手を洗ってお菓子を食べて終わりました。


Koala special event "Sweet potato digging" held on Nov. 6 Saturday. It was the blue sky on that day.
Eight foreign families and five Japanese families,total 36 people got together at Morita san's field.
People who knew the site, went there directly and people who didn't know the place, rendezvous at Nakahara Station.
The participation fee was 300yen per a family.

We felt comfortable with flesh air and were sweating from the sunshine.
We dug up four jumbo sweet potatoes which had three times bigger size than the ordinary one.
Children were covered with sand and enjoyed digging one.
Finished working in an hour and divided 13 families and brought them back home.

コアラの皆様へ

11月6日(土)10時よりさつまいも堀りをします。

家族参加です。１家族200～300円です。

掘った芋は持ち帰ります。場所は下小田中３丁目の森田さんの畑です。

場所が分からない人は9時50分に南武線武蔵中原駅に集合して下さい。米澤が待っています。

10月31日特別企画ハロウィーンのつどい報告（Halloween Party)

平成22年度中原区地域福祉講座事業の委託を請けてコアラで「ハロウィーンのつどい」を行ないました。

近年、中原区に大型のマンションが建ち、若い世代の日本人、外国人家族が多く住んでいます。まだコアラを知らない人達にコアラの存在を知ってもらい、一緒に子育てを楽しんで欲しいと企画されました。
実行委員長の佐藤めぐみさんとスタッフは1ヶ月前からパーティの計画を話し合い、飾り付けの買出しなどをしました。
10月28日のコアラの会でパーティの説明をするつもりでしたが、台風14号で大雨の為、6組しか参加しませんでした。
午後は新城駅近くのトンプソンさん宅へ移動して夕方まで風船の膨らましやお土産の袋詰めの作業をしました。
30日に台風の為、参加キャンセルのメールが入り心配しました。

10月31日（日）、台風は去ってよい天気になりました。

9:00 会場の飾りつけ　窓ガラスいっぱいにキラキラ光るレースを飾り、黒のレースで作った蜘蛛、沢山の風船を飾りつけました。　
10:00 開場　受付係りは家族まとめて靴の番号、仮装している人は仮装番号、一品持ち寄りのカボチャ料理は料理名カードを渡しました。
10:30 日本語の司会をトンプソンさん、英語の司会をイヴロンさんが担当しました。
コアラ代表の米澤よりパーティの趣旨とコアラの歩みを話しました。私はセネガルの民族衣装を着てヘッドドレスをつけて顔に茶色のアイシャドーを塗り仮装しましたがあまり受けませんでした。
副代表の藤原さんが魔女に変装して子供達が「trick or treat」と言うとお菓子を上げました。
会場には子供用の車やテントなどの遊具もありますので子供達は汗をかいて遊んでいました。
　
11:15～ランチタイム。
10カ国の国際色豊かな料理が並んでいました。


食べながらビンゴゲームをして1,2,3位までプレゼントを貰いました。　
最後に仮装大賞は皆の投票で決まります。一番いいと思う人の番号を投票箱に入れました。
3位はいっけい君の『ゲゲゲのきたろう』
2位はあおい君の『スケルトン』
1位はマデゥ（インド）ちゃんの『エンジェル』でした。
みんなから拍手を貰い仮装大賞の記念品も貰いました。マデゥちゃん家族は今年12月でインドへ帰国しますので良い記念になりました。



　
13:00閉会の挨拶。
本日の参加者は79名（日本人40名、外国人39名）参加家族数33家族（コアラ会員家族19家族、コアラ卒業生並びに一般家族14家族）
とてもバランスの取れた参加者だったと思います。実行委員の方、お疲れ様でした。有難うございました。


Koala had a Halloween party on Oct.31 Sunday sponsored by the city administration.
Recently,new mansions are rising and young families of Japanese and foreigners are increasing. Koala and Nakahara ward planned a Halloween party that we want to let people know of Koala and wanted them to enjoy bring up children together at Koala meeting. The project leader Ms.Megumi Sato and her staff prepared party goods for month. We were going to explain what a party would going on, but only 9 people attended due to the typhoon 14. We moved to the Tompson's house near the Shinjyo Station in the afternoon. We blew into so many balloons and packed snacks for children. Some of the members cancelled due to the typhoon 14.

October 31 Sunday, the typhoon 14 had gone and it was fine day.
9:00 We decorated the party hall. A full pane was adorned with the twinkling race, and the spider that had made it from a black race and a lot of balloons were decorated.
10:00 Opening. A receptionist gave participants numbering cards for family's shoes and the person who disguised and the pumpkin dish.
10:30 Japanese hostess was Tompson san and English host was Ivlon san from England.
A representative Koala Yonezawa explained party's intention and Koala history. I was disguised in Senegalese wearing African costume. I rubbed brown eye shadow cream on my face and putting on the head dress.
A sub-representative Fujiwara san who was disguising as the witch gave the sweet when children were saying "Trick or treat".
There were toy car and tent for children. They were sweating from playing toys.
11:15 Lunch time. We set the 10 countries dishes on the table. Those were made from pumpkin. According to bingo game, the top three got presents.
At the end of the party, we had the disguised grand prize that was decided by everyone's vote. The third prize was Ikei(2 years old boy)"ge ge ge no kitaro", the second was Aoi(2 years old boy)"Skeleton", the grand prize was Madu from India(5 years old girl)"Angel". They got a big applause from participants. Madu's family will return to India this December.
PM1:00 Closing.

Participants in the Halloween Party were 79 people,(foreigner 39, Japanese 40).
Participant families 33(Koala member's families 19, finished Koala families and none 14). It was proper proportion between Japanese and foreigner and Koala member and none Koala member. Thank you for coming. It was a great success.
