７月６日（日）インターナショナルフェスティバルに向けて
≪７月５日（土）☂ ２：００～５：００PM 品物搬入日≫
国際交流センターの２階の会議室が５団体参加のフリーマーケットの部屋です。 現コアラ会員には子供の古着の寄付を呼び掛けていましたのでコアラの会で頂きました。 私は友人たちから古着や不用品を宅急便で送って貰いました。 我が家の廊下に積み上げられた段ボール箱は友人の福本さんが車で運んでくださいました。 阿部さんも友人から古着を集めて段ボール箱につめて、車で運んでくださいました。 コアラ卒業のマラルゴーさんも子供の古着持参で２時間も仕分けのお手伝いをして下さいました。 有難うございました。
≪７月６日（日）☀ ８：４５AM～６：００PM フリマ販売とあと片付け≫
朝から晴れて暑いです。 １０時オープンに合わせて人が続々と集まりました。 マラルゴーさんのアドバイスでサイズ（８０～１２０）が偏っているから「１袋３枚入りで売った方が良い！」との事でした。 子育てグループのフリマなのに売り子さんはグランマばかりです。 事前の打ち合わせの時間も無く、売る人によって値段が違う！と言う事もありました。
阿部さん、川崎さん、福田さん、浜ちゃん、コアラから藤原さんと米澤そして小学４年生のミーちゃんの７名で売りました。 ミーちゃんは自分の玩具を１５０～３５０円で売って、コアラに寄付してくれました。 沢山あったおもちゃもすぐに売れてしまいました。
私はコアラの宣伝を兼ねて「フリーマーケット ２F」と書いた紙を持って人混みを歩きました。 国際グループなので世界の国旗がプリントされたTシャツを着ました。
コアラの卒業生、急に来なくなった人、数年ぶりに会った人など色んな出会いがありました。 特に感動したのはコアラの第１期生のジェニーナさんが訪ねて来た事です。 「国際交流センターに来れば米澤さんに会える様な気がして・・・」「会いたかった！ずーと探していたんだよ。」と泣きながらお互いにハグしました。 １５年ぶりの再会でした。 １歳からコアラに参加していたヒロナちゃんが結婚・出産していました。 驚き！？ 感動！！
５時、売れ残った子供服や大人の服はベレンさんご夫妻が引き取りに来て下さいました。 教会を通して支援を必要としている人達に配ります。

コアラでフリーマーケットをした目的：
＊コアラは今年で創立１８年です。 ２０周年を記念して記念誌の発行と２０年間の参加者の同窓会をしようと思っています。 その為の資金つくりです。 売上金はすぐにコアラの銀行預金にいれます。 記念誌に載せる作文を募集しています。 記念誌編集とパーティ運営員会のメンバーも募集しなければなりませんね。
＊コアラの卒業生に会える事、私（米澤）と話したい人、相談したい人を繋ぐのも目的です。
＊不必要になった物を必要な人に使ってもらうリサイクル。「もったいない！」の言葉を大切にしています。
In April, International Parents and Infants Cross Cultural Group KOALA joined "Kawasaki International registered group conference, belong to Kawasaki International Association. Koala use the group room at free of charge.
July 6 (sun.) Forward to the International Festival
≪July 5 (sat.) ☂ 2:00~5:00PM Carry goods into the meeting room on 2nd floor≫
The registered 5 groups are going to have Flea Market at the meeting room on 2nd floor at International Center.
Koala members have already donated the used child clothes and I got them at the Koala meeting. My friends send their used clothes and needless goods by home-delivery service. A pile of cardboard boxes in my hall were carried out by my friend Fukumoto san. Abe san also collected her friends used clothes and unnecessary goods. Her friend conveyed goods by his car. The former Koala member Maralgo san also brought her daughter's clothes and helped us to display for two hours. Thank you very much.
≪July 6 (sun.) ☀ 8:45AM~6:00PM Sales and clear off≫
It is a fine and hot from the morning. Flea Market opened at 10:00 and many people rushed in. According to Maralgo san's advice, "Better to sell 3 pieces for one bag because there are partial size of 80~120". This Flea market belongs to the child raising group but the salesclerks are grandmas.
We didn't have enough time to be predetermined so that the prices of the goods were disjointed at the first tine.
Salesclarks were Abe san, Kawasaki san, Fukuda san, Hama chan, (Koala/Fujiwara san and Yonezawa) and 4th grade pupil Mi chan. Mi chan donated her toys and sold them at 150~350yen. For Koala public relations, I walked in the crowds showing "Flea Market on 2F". As Koala is a International group, I wore International Flags printed on the T-shirt.
People who were finished Koala, absentees and long time no see, it could be a good opportunity to meet there.
The most impressive happening was that Jennian San who was the first year of Koala member came to see me. She said, "I could be happen to see you at the International Center. I was eager to see you. I've been looking for you." She cried and hugged. Fifteen years have passed since we last met. Hirona chan who attended to Koala when she was 1 year old, was married and delivered a baby girl.
Surprise!! Touching!!
Mr. and Mrs Belen took back unsold clothes at 5:00PM. She delivers to someone who is in need of clothes through the church.

The purpose to have Koala Flea Market
* Koala has been running 18 years. I am thinking that I want to make a booklet of "Koala 20th anniversary issue" and have the reunion party in near future. Unless I have some funds, nothing goes. The proceeds from the sales are toward the party funds. I will put money in the bank. Require your essay about Koala. Recruit a member of editorial board and steering committee for a party.
* It could be a good chance to meet the former Koala members, a person who wants to talk to me and consult with me.
* The clothes you don't need anymore recycle to others. I admire of the word of MOTTAINAI=What a waste!".
