３月５日ひな祭り、ひな人形を作ろうの報告（The Doll's Festival, Make Hina Doll by Origami)

ひな祭りの歌を歌いました。
♫　明かりをつけましょう　ぼんぼりに　お花をあげましょう　桃の花　５人ばやしの笛・太鼓　今日は楽しいひな祭り　♫
♫　お内裏様とお雛様　二人並んで　すまし顔　お嫁にいらした　姉さまの　良く似た官女の　白い顔　♫

何時もおとなしい、しいかちゃんが歌っています。　お家でひな祭りをして貰ったのですね。
子供達のアンコールで2回も歌いました。

誕生会；
しのちゃん　1歳　お誕生日おめでとうございます。　コアラのお誕生日カードとコアラメダルを差し上げます。　皆で「ハッピーバースデーの歌」を歌いましょう。　おめでとう！　しのちゃん。

ひな人形作り；
明るい色（女）と反対色（男）の2枚を選びます。　指示通りに折っていくとひな人形が出来上がります。　お内裏様（天皇）の帽子は「嬰・えい」で、右手に持つ棒は「笏・しゃく」です。　お雛様（皇后）の頭の飾りは「冠・かんむり」、両手で持つものは「桧扇・ひおうぎ」でヒノキの薄い板で作った扇です。　A4のコピー紙にお内裏様とお雛様を貼りつけて、「えい、しゃく」と「かんむり、ひおうぎ」も貼りつけて下さい。

目・鼻・口を書き込むとみんな違う顔に見えます。

中原区役所で行われた「子育てサークルを知ろう！」の報告；
＊　昨年より参加者が少なかった。
＊　外国人参加者はいなかった。
＊　コアラに入会したい人は沢山いたが「外国人同伴で来て下さい！」は難しいらしい。　どこに行けば外国人と知り合えるのですか？　町で声をかけるのは恥ずかしいです。

出産で休んでいる会員に男の子が生まれました。　皆で「おめでとう！」のピースポーズを取って、写メールをおくりました。

いつもの様にお菓子やお茶を頂いてコアラの会を終わりました。

We sang a song "Hina Matsuri".

A quiet and reserved Shiika chan is singing!?  I supposed she must be having Hina Festival at home.  We sang a song twice requested by children.

Birthday Party;
Shino, One year old girl.  Happy Birthday.  Give you Koala Birthday Card and Koala Medal.　Let's sing a song "Happy Birthday to you" together.  Congratulations! Shino.

Making Hina doll;
Fold up Origami according to instruct.  You can make it.
Odairi Sama's (Emperor) hat is called "EI" and a stick holding right hand is called "SHAKU".  Ohina Sama's (Empress) head dress is called "KANMURI" and holding both hands is called "HIOUGI" that is made of cypress.

Paste Odairi Sama and Ohina Sama on the A4 paper and also paste "Ei&Shaku" and "Kanmuri&Hiougi"  Make it's eyes, nose, mouth on your paper dolls.  Each of them seems like a different one.

Report of "Let's know child raising Circles" by Nakahara Kuyakusho;
* A small participants than the last year.
* No foreigner there.
* Lots of Japanese want to enroll Koala but it is difficult to accompany with foreigner.  Where can we meet foreigners?   We are embarrassed by calling foreigners on the road.

A member of taking Maternity leave delivered a baby boy.  We send a picture mail with peace sign.

We finished Koala meeting after having sweets and a tea as usual.

２月１２日パパに贈るバレンタインカード作りの報告（Make Valentine Card for Papa.)

お天気が良いと参加者も多いようです。　久しぶりにコアラに来た人、新しく入会した人がいるので、子供の紹介をしました。　いつもの歌「Good Morning」から始めました。　子供達は元気よく返事をしましたね。

「パパに贈るバレンタインカード作り」の担当は宮島さんです。　事前にメールで「子供の写真、シールや飾り物を持って来て下さい」と連絡してありました。　それ以外の材料はコアラで準備しました。
さて、さて・・・カードの出来具合はどうかな～？　写真の回りにLOVE、LOVE。　ハートマークに囲まれた写真。　手の形に切り取った折り紙を貼りつけて・・・・傑作が沢山出来上がりました。　ひとつひとつに個性が出ています。
パパは喜ぶこと間違いなし！！　「家庭を持ってよかったな～」と思える瞬間ですよ。

来月出産する会員の為に藤原さんが中華海鮮粥とチャーハンを作ってご馳走してくれました。
ついでに私達会員の分も作って持って来て下さったので皆で頂きました。　普段、食の細い子供も良く食べていました。　ママは食べてくれると嬉しいね。
「お産、頑張ってね！　ファイト！　待っているから戻って来てね。」と皆からエールを送られていました。

会員からバレンタインデーの洋菓子を差し入れして頂きました。　有難うございました。　余ったお菓子は次回持参しますね。


誕生会；
あやねちゃん；　２月１４日生まれ　２才。　お誕生日おめでとう。　コアラメダルとバースデーカードを差し上げます。　皆で「♫ハッピーバースデー♫」の歌を歌ってお祝いしました。
いつも活発なあやねちゃんは今日に限って眠いようです。

一足早いお別れ会；
はなちゃん；　ママの出産の為に今日でコアラを卒業します。　コアラに来てくれてありがとう。　コアラから金メダルとプレゼントをあげます。

はなちゃんは１歳の時にコアラに来ました。　ぬいぐるみを小脇に抱えて、ママの後ろから顔を出して様子を見ていましたね。
アレルギー体質もあり食べ物には気を使いました。　お菓子はママに聞いてから、はなちゃん用のおせんべいも用意していました。　あれから２年、はなちゃんは変身しました。　コアラのボス的存在になりました。　自分で決めたことは何でもやり通すでしょう。　これは変わらないと思います。

３歳まで過ごしたコアラは子供達の記憶には残っていません。　子供達は成長するにつれて友達を変えて行くでしょう。　でもこの時期の子供を知ってくれているのはママ友です。　年賀状のやり取りだけでも良いので細く長く繋がっていて下さい。　思春期になった子供たちに悩んだ時、きっと役に立ちます。

入会；　黄　白露さん（中国）義理のお母さんと参加しました。　ようこそ　コアラへ！！

There are many participants in the event because of a good weather.  As we welcomed someone after a long separation and a new member, introduced children.  Koala started from a song "Good Morning".  Children answered with full of vigor.

Miyajima san is in charge of the event "Make Valentine Card for Papa!".  She mailed to members to bring your child's picture and seals and Koala prepares materials other than that.

Well, well・・・How does it work?  LOVE, LOVE around the picture.  The picture is surrounded with Heart Mark.  Cutting hand-shaped Origami are pasted ・・・ Splendid Valentine Cards for Papa were completed.  Each of them were a work of great individuality.
Papa must be delighted to get your card!!  He must be happy to have a good family.  At the critical moment!!

Fujiwara san cooked Chinese Seafood rice porridge and Chinese fried rice for a member who delivers a baby in the next month.  She cooked for us too.  In general, some child had only a light meal but they ate a lot. 
All members cheered up to her, "Fight! Give birth to baby boy.  We are waiting for you.  Come back."

A Koala member gave Valentine sweets for us.  Thank you very much.  I will bring leftover next Koala meeting.

Birthday Party;
Ayane; two years old girl was born on Valentine Day.  Happy Birthday to you.  Give you Koala Medal and Birthday Card.  Let's sing Happy Birthday song for her. ♫
Ayane is an active girl but she seems sleepy now.

An early Send Off Party;
Hana; She finishes Koala today because of her mama's delivery.  Thank you for coming to Koala. Give you a Gold medal and gift from Koala.
Hana came to Koala when she was one year old.  She'd always carried stuffed doll and looked children from her mama's back.  I cared snack for her allergic to food.  After two years passed, Hana changed dramatically and became a leader of children.  She will stick to anything what she wants.  I think it's her native.

Children won't remember about Koala.  Child will change her friend according to her growth.  Only mama's friend in Koala knows in her infancy.  Please keep in touch with your Koala friend forever.  This connection will help you when you would face troubles of your child's adolescence.

２月５日節分の豆まき（ボール投げ）の報告（Setubun, scatter perched beans to drive out bad luck.)

今日は朝からみぞれから雪にかわりとても寒いです。　午後から大雪になる予報です。　無理して来なくてもいいよ。　それでも１２人の大人と子供達が集まりました。

♫　福は内　鬼は外、パラッ、パラッ、パラッと豆の音、鬼はこっそり逃げて行く　♫

予定では鬼のお面をかぶった大人が籠を背負って走り、子供達はかごに向かってボールを投げ入れる予定でしたが難しい様です。　皆が出来る様に、壁に鬼のお面を張り付け、それに向かってボールを投げました。　それでは飽き足らず、子供達がお面をかぶりました。　「鬼だ～。　ガオッ, ガオッ。こわいぞ～」とポーズをとりました。　大人がお面をかぶると泣いていた赤ちゃんが、子供たちがお面をかぶったら笑うのです。　面白いですね。

女の子たちが「おやつはまだ？いつ？」と催促に来ました。　節分の豆菓子を皆で食べました。
副代表の藤原さんが中国から帰ってきました。　お土産はドライフルーツ７種類（いちご、ラズベリー、梨、桃、ゴマのゼリーなど）可愛いケースに入っていました。　「桜桃」は何だろう？？　食べたら「チェリー」でした。　ヘルシーなおやつを美味しく頂きました。　謝謝

人数が少ないのでお部屋が広く使えます。　子供達と鬼ごっこをしました。　夢中で逃げる子供達の体力に鬼役の私は負けました。　こっそり逃げます。　バイバイ～

お茶も頂いてコアラの会を終わりました。

The sleet changed into snow in this morning.  Afternoon's weather forecast is for heavy snow.  You don't have to force to come; nevertheless, 12 adults and children gathered.

♫Fuku wa uchi, Oni wa soto, Para, para,para,mame no oto, Oni wa kosori nigeteiku♫  This means that "The happiness comes in, the demon gets out, Pra, para, para the sound of scattering beans, the demon slides out of the house."

The initial plan was that an adult is wearing the demon's mask and carry a laundry basket on her back is running.  Children throw balls into the basket.  But this way was difficult for Koala group's children.  So, we changed the plan to paste the demon masks on the wall.  Children threw the balls to the demon masks.   Some of them were not satisfied with this way and they wore the demon masks on their faces and said, "I am a demon.  Gao~, Gao~, Scare you!"  When I wore a demon mask, babies cried out, on the contrary, babies laughed to see children's masks.  It is interesting phenomenon.

Little girls pressed me, "Snack is not yet!"  Then, we had sweet beans.
A vice president Fujiwara san returned from China.  Her gifts were 7 kinds of different dry fruits (Strawberry, Raspberry, Pear, Peach, Sesame Jelly etc.) and its cases were precious.
What is "Sakura momo?".  It was the Cherry.  We had a delicious, healthy snack.  Thank you so much.

We could use the room widely because of a small membership.  I played tag with children for a while and gave up their power of runaway.  I, a demon steals away from a room.  Bye-bye.

We finished Koala event after having tea.

　

１月２２日絵本の読み聞かせの報告（Reading a picture book)

冷たい雨やみぞれの日が２日も続きました。　インフルエンザも流行っているので何人来るのか心配でした。　寒くて冷たい雨の中、７人の大人と子供達が集まりました。
さっちゃんはマスクをして来ました。　ちょっと風邪気味です。　ママは「寒いからコアラを休もう」と言いましたがさっちゃんは「コアラに行く」とママを連れて来てくれました。　久しぶりにブラジルのガブリエル君の事を思い出しました。
進藤さんは図書館から大きな絵本を借りて持って来てくれました。　絵本の題は「どうぞのいす」です。　みんなで絵本を楽しみました。　

早めにティータイムにしました。　カステラと横浜ミルフィーユを持ってきました。　１４名しかいないので沢山食べられました。　それでも余ったのでパパへのお土産にしました。

子供達は元気いっぱいで部屋を走り回りました。　大人も加わって鬼ごっこをしました。汗をかきましたね。　帰ったら着替えてね。

この日は米澤代表の指導で「フラダンスをしよう！」を計画していましたが、風邪の為キャンセルになりました。　申し訳ありませんでした。

＊フラダンスを楽しみにしていたのに残念です。
＊音楽に合わせて体を動かしたい。　子供も大好きですので次回やって欲しい。
＊フラダンスは興味があるのでキャンセルではなく延期にして欲しい。

The cold rain and the sleet continued on two days.  As the Influenza is raging, I was worried about members.  Seven adults and children gathered while it was raining.
Sachi wore a mask because she had a touch of a cold this morning.  Her mama said, "Better to take a rest for the cold today".  Sachi brought her mama to Koala.  Sachi reminded me of Gabriel boy from Brazil.
Shindo san brought a big picture book which you can borrow it from the library.  The title of a picture book is "Douzo no isu".  We enjoyed a picture book.

We had an early teatime.  I brought Sponge Cake and the Yokohama Mille-Feuille to the meeting.  As we were only 14 people, we could have a lot of them.  The rest of sweets were gift for Papa.  Children full of vigor were running around in the room. Adults joined the running and played tag with them.  We got warm and sweaty.  Please change their dress!

We were planning to do "Let's dance HULA!" leading by Mrs. Yonezawa.  Sorry, it was cancelled because of her cold.

* Unluckily we missed Hula.
* We want to move to fit with the music. Children love the music.  Please do it.
* I am interested in Hula, the event must be postponed.
