３月１２日のお別れ会の報告（Send-off Party)

 ホワイトボードに２０名の卒業生の名前を書き、金メダル２０個を飾りました。
＊　１年間休まずにコアラに来てくれた人が一人います。　誰でしょう？？　それはさっちゃんです。
さっちゃん、前に出て来て下さい。　さっちゃんは雨の日も雪の日も来ました。　風邪気味の時はマスクをしてバスで来ました。　私は嬉しかったです。　よって、「花の冠」を差し上げます。

＊　金メダル授与式；
幼稚園入園、おめでとう！　
コアラに来てくれて、ありがとう！　金メダルとプレゼントを差し上げます。

１、ここあちゃん；　１歳の時参加。　言葉が出るのが遅く心配しましたが、回りのお友達がお喋り過ぎたのね。　遅れて部屋に入ってくる人がいると必ず知らせに来てくれました。　周りの様子をよく見ているのですね。　自分からリーダー格にはならないと思いますが、人と人を繋ぐ重要な役割をする人になるでしょう。

２、ほのかちゃん；　１歳の時参加。　自分の物と他人の物の区別がはっきり分かる子。　自分の物を取られると泣いて怒るが他人の物ならどんなに欲しくても返す分別がある。　自分を大切にし、友達の事も大切に出来る人になる。　ママはほのかちゃんの言い分を聞いて、納得させた方が解決は早いと思います。

３、さちちゃん；　１歳の時参加。　ママとほぼ対等な立場。　お互いを心配し、気になる事を言い合い補う。　大人っぽい。　ちょっと調子に乗り過ぎる所と恥ずかしがりやな所が入り混じっている。　これがさっちゃんの魅力かも知れない。　コアラで多国籍の子供達と普通に遊び、ママとは海外旅行もする。　ママと一緒にグローバルな人になるのだろう。

４、ここみちゃん；　１歳の時参加。　ママがお産で来られない時はお婆ちゃんと参加。　ここみちゃんはおとなしく、回りの子供に合わせて遊んでいましたね。　弟が生まれてからお姉さんらしくなりました。　中和を保って仲間意識を支えてくれる人になるのでしょう。

５、しいかちゃん；　１歳の時参加。　ママ程おとなしくは無い。　やって欲しいことがあれば私の所に来て、意思表示をしていた。　一人遊びも出来るし、仲間と一緒にも遊べるタイプ。　気が付くと傍にいる人、心が弱っている人に寄り添ってあげる人になるのでしょう。

６、ゆめちゃん；　２歳から参加。　数回しか来ていないのでよく観察できませんが、素直で元気な子。　手足の筋肉が固いので体が丈夫なのでしょう。　あまり病気もせずに成長するかも！

（はなちゃんとルミちゃん（フィンランド）を加えた「コアラの３歳ガールズ」はいつも元気いっぱいに走り回り、笑ってばかりいましたね。　おかげで私も沢山元気を貰いました。）

７、ともきくん；　２歳から参加。　コアラの３歳ガールズパワーに押されていました。　男の子が少なく淋しかったね。　ひとみしりで遊べなかったのか？　遊びたくてもパワーがすごくて遊べなかったのか？？

８、ゆうとくん；　２歳から参加。　ママの方がコアラを好きだったかな？　ママが行きたくてもゆうと君は行きたくなかったね。　最初と最後の参加でした。　ゆうと君が男の子らしくちゃんとしない事をママは心配していたけど大丈夫だよ。　男の子はゆっくり成長します。　小学生になると男子に変身します。　お楽しみに！！

保育園入園、おめでとう！　コアラに来てくれてありがとう！　金メダルとプレゼントを差し上げます。

９、わこちゃん；　生後５か月で参加。　立てる様になると、音楽に合わせて一人でも踊っていましたね。　可愛くて、目立っていました。　どんな成長を見せてくれるのか楽しみにしていましたがママの産休明けで職場に戻ります。　ここに来てわこちゃんは静かになりました。　言葉はまだ話せなくても自分に不都合が起きている事は理解できています。

１０、まおちゃん；　１歳。　数回し参加していないのでまだ性格まで分かりません。

１１、いおちゃん；　４歳。　昨年ママの出産の為、金メダルを貰えなかったので今日卒業式をしました。

今日、お別れ会に来られなかった人；（幼稚園組）ルミちゃん、ふみちゃん、はるかちゃん、りなちゃん、ひなこちゃん、ゆりこちゃん、（帰国）ジュウゼンちゃん　（保育園組）シュンミョウ君、ゆうたろう君。　金メダルは取ってありますので取りに来て下さいね。

≪贈る言葉≫
「三つ子の魂百まで・・」と言います。　０歳から３歳までの人としての大切な時期をコアラで過ごしてもらうと、その子の成長や特性が分かります。　「こんな人になるだろうな～」と想像が付きます。　成長過程で色んな困難にぶつかると思いますが、幼い頃の性質は変わらないでしょう。　その子の持ち味を尊重して育てて欲しいです。　
３歳で卒業する子供達の顔は輝いています。　金メダルを首に下げ、誇らしげです。　１歳で保育園に入園する子供とは対照的です。　成長する為には「お別れ」が伴います。　残される私は淋しいけど見守るしかありません。　私はこんなボランティアの仕事が出来て本当に幸せです。　感謝しています。

（１歳で保育園にいれるママ、想像して・・・）
貴女は入社１年生。　やっと会社の回りが分かる様になったのに、関連会社へ転勤。　今までとは違う雰囲気、言葉使いも違う。　主任は信頼できるのかな？　不安、淋しい、悲しい気持ち・・・
入社１年生の貴女を生後１年の子供に置き換えて考えて！？　　さて、貴女はどうすればいいでしょうか？

＊　食事会；
副代表の藤原さんが中国のお正月料理を沢山作って持って来て下さいました。　昨日の夜からご主人も手伝って作って下さったそうです。　いつも美味しいご馳走有難うございます。　６０名で頂きました。
一品持ち寄りなのでその他の料理も並びました。

神奈川新聞社の記者、高橋さんが取材に来られました。　４月に掲載される予定です。

I wrote twenty children's name who leave Koala on the white board and hung 20 gold medals.
* There are only one who has come to Koala all days.  Guess who?  It's Sachi.  Come here.  Sachi came to Koala even it was rainy day, snowy day and came to by bus when she caught a cold.  I was very glad to know.  Therefore, I want to give you "A flower crown".

* A presentation of a gold medal;
Congratulations!  Enter Pre-school.  Thank you for coming to Koala.  Give you a gold medal and present.

1, Kokoa(girl);
Came aged 1.  I was worried that she had a slow tongue.  As the Koala girls had long tongues, she missed to speak out.  Kokoa informed me whenever a member came to late.  She always turns her attention to her around.  I don't think she will be a leader, but she become a important role of making a connection between person to person.

2,  Honoka(girl);
Came aged 1.  She can tell her belongings from the others.  If someone took her toy, she screamed but she returned the toy to friend even if she desired it.  Honoka cherishes herself and also respects to her friend.  I think Mama listens her say and make her satisfied herself is more easier to get resolution.

3, Sachi(girl);
Came aged 1.  She is on an equality with her Mama.  She is anxious for Mama.  They talk with each other about anything on their chest.  She sometimes looks like grown-up.  Her character mingles with bashful and a strain of cheerful.  That must be Sach's charm.  She used to play with multinational children at Koala  and travel abroad with Mama.  Sachi will be a global woman.

4, Kokomi(girl);
Came aged 1.  While her Mama was delivered of a boy, she came to Koala with her grandmother.   She has a mild disposition and played with children suitably.  She looks sisterliness after young brother was born.  Kokomi will be a person who could neutralize her company.

5, Shiika(girl);
Came aged 1.  She is not quiet and reserved as her Mama.  She came to me and showed what she wanted me to do.  She can play alone or group.  Shiika will be a gentle enough to take care of people who have faint heart.

6, Yume(girl);
Came aged 2.  Couldn't watch her because of a few participation.  She is a supple mind and her hands and legs are firm so that she might not get serious sick.

(Koala 3 years old girls including Hana and Rumi(Finnish) were always running around and laugh out loud.  By the grace of you, my angels, I was given your spirits.)

7, Tomoki(boy);
Came aged 2.  He was suppress by Koala 3 years old girls, isn't he.  A few boys felt lonely.  He couldn't play with energetic girls.

8, Yuto(boy);
Came aged 2.  Mama liked Koala than he and wanted to come to Koala but not Yuto.  The first and the last day participated.  Mama is worried about Yuto hesitates what to do.  Don't worry.  Boys are grown up slowly.  Yuto also changes at his teens.  Wait for him!

Congratulations!  Enter the Day Nursery.  Thank you for coming to Koala.  Give you a gold medal and present.

9, Wako(girl);
Came to Koala at 5 months baby.  When she could stand by herself, she danced by music.  Wako is a cute and remarkable ability.  I was looking forward to seeing her growing up but her Mama finished  maternity leave and return to work.  Recently, she became quietly.  She noticed  an unfavorable thing would happen to her without speakable.

10, Mao(girl);
Came aged 1.  I don't see her for a few attendance.

11, Io(girl);
Four years old.  She missed to get a gold medal last year.

Today, children who couldn't come to Koala Send-off Party;

≪Congratulations!≫
It is said, "The child is father of the man".  Children aged 0 to 3 spent at Koala for three years, I could get their characteristics.  I could guess of their future figures.  They will face many difficulties on the way to an adult but their tendencies would not change.  Please cherish your child as respect of their ability.
Children aged 3 who leave Koala have happy faces.  They are proud of getting gold medals.  One year old looks opposite.  To be an adult accompany with parting.  I miss them but there is no help.  I am really happy to organize Koala group as a volunteerism.  Much appreciated.

(Can you imagine what a baby thinks at the Day Nursery?)
You are a raw recruit and became to get to know your work.  Suddenly, you have to move to the another office.  Surroundings and language are quite different as you know.  You wonder you can trust a manager.  Anxious, Lonely, Sad feeling!!   Think of it, to interchange you and your baby.  Now, what should you do?

* Lunch time;
A vice president Fujiwara san cooked a lot of Chinese New Year dishes.  Her husband had been helping cook for her, too.  Thank you very much. 
As today's event is Send-off and Potluck party, other members also bring meals.

* New Member;
Winy san from Vietnam.  Pregnancy and fluent English.  Welcome to Koala.

* Others;
Kanagawa Newspaper Press Mr. Takahashi visited to Koala and interviewed.  Koala article will appear in April.

３月５日ひな祭り、ひな人形を作ろうの報告（The Doll's Festival, Make Hina Doll by Origami)

ひな祭りの歌を歌いました。
♫　明かりをつけましょう　ぼんぼりに　お花をあげましょう　桃の花　５人ばやしの笛・太鼓　今日は楽しいひな祭り　♫
♫　お内裏様とお雛様　二人並んで　すまし顔　お嫁にいらした　姉さまの　良く似た官女の　白い顔　♫

何時もおとなしい、しいかちゃんが歌っています。　お家でひな祭りをして貰ったのですね。
子供達のアンコールで2回も歌いました。

誕生会；
しのちゃん　1歳　お誕生日おめでとうございます。　コアラのお誕生日カードとコアラメダルを差し上げます。　皆で「ハッピーバースデーの歌」を歌いましょう。　おめでとう！　しのちゃん。

ひな人形作り；
明るい色（女）と反対色（男）の2枚を選びます。　指示通りに折っていくとひな人形が出来上がります。　お内裏様（天皇）の帽子は「嬰・えい」で、右手に持つ棒は「笏・しゃく」です。　お雛様（皇后）の頭の飾りは「冠・かんむり」、両手で持つものは「桧扇・ひおうぎ」でヒノキの薄い板で作った扇です。　A4のコピー紙にお内裏様とお雛様を貼りつけて、「えい、しゃく」と「かんむり、ひおうぎ」も貼りつけて下さい。

目・鼻・口を書き込むとみんな違う顔に見えます。

中原区役所で行われた「子育てサークルを知ろう！」の報告；
＊　昨年より参加者が少なかった。
＊　外国人参加者はいなかった。
＊　コアラに入会したい人は沢山いたが「外国人同伴で来て下さい！」は難しいらしい。　どこに行けば外国人と知り合えるのですか？　町で声をかけるのは恥ずかしいです。

出産で休んでいる会員に男の子が生まれました。　皆で「おめでとう！」のピースポーズを取って、写メールをおくりました。

いつもの様にお菓子やお茶を頂いてコアラの会を終わりました。

We sang a song "Hina Matsuri".

A quiet and reserved Shiika chan is singing!?  I supposed she must be having Hina Festival at home.  We sang a song twice requested by children.

Birthday Party;
Shino, One year old girl.  Happy Birthday.  Give you Koala Birthday Card and Koala Medal.　Let's sing a song "Happy Birthday to you" together.  Congratulations! Shino.

Making Hina doll;
Fold up Origami according to instruct.  You can make it.
Odairi Sama's (Emperor) hat is called "EI" and a stick holding right hand is called "SHAKU".  Ohina Sama's (Empress) head dress is called "KANMURI" and holding both hands is called "HIOUGI" that is made of cypress.

Paste Odairi Sama and Ohina Sama on the A4 paper and also paste "Ei&Shaku" and "Kanmuri&Hiougi"  Make it's eyes, nose, mouth on your paper dolls.  Each of them seems like a different one.

Report of "Let's know child raising Circles" by Nakahara Kuyakusho;
* A small participants than the last year.
* No foreigner there.
* Lots of Japanese want to enroll Koala but it is difficult to accompany with foreigner.  Where can we meet foreigners?   We are embarrassed by calling foreigners on the road.

A member of taking Maternity leave delivered a baby boy.  We send a picture mail with peace sign.

We finished Koala meeting after having sweets and a tea as usual.

２月１２日パパに贈るバレンタインカード作りの報告（Make Valentine Card for Papa.)

お天気が良いと参加者も多いようです。　久しぶりにコアラに来た人、新しく入会した人がいるので、子供の紹介をしました。　いつもの歌「Good Morning」から始めました。　子供達は元気よく返事をしましたね。

「パパに贈るバレンタインカード作り」の担当は宮島さんです。　事前にメールで「子供の写真、シールや飾り物を持って来て下さい」と連絡してありました。　それ以外の材料はコアラで準備しました。
さて、さて・・・カードの出来具合はどうかな～？　写真の回りにLOVE、LOVE。　ハートマークに囲まれた写真。　手の形に切り取った折り紙を貼りつけて・・・・傑作が沢山出来上がりました。　ひとつひとつに個性が出ています。
パパは喜ぶこと間違いなし！！　「家庭を持ってよかったな～」と思える瞬間ですよ。

来月出産する会員の為に藤原さんが中華海鮮粥とチャーハンを作ってご馳走してくれました。
ついでに私達会員の分も作って持って来て下さったので皆で頂きました。　普段、食の細い子供も良く食べていました。　ママは食べてくれると嬉しいね。
「お産、頑張ってね！　ファイト！　待っているから戻って来てね。」と皆からエールを送られていました。

会員からバレンタインデーの洋菓子を差し入れして頂きました。　有難うございました。　余ったお菓子は次回持参しますね。


誕生会；
あやねちゃん；　２月１４日生まれ　２才。　お誕生日おめでとう。　コアラメダルとバースデーカードを差し上げます。　皆で「♫ハッピーバースデー♫」の歌を歌ってお祝いしました。
いつも活発なあやねちゃんは今日に限って眠いようです。

一足早いお別れ会；
はなちゃん；　ママの出産の為に今日でコアラを卒業します。　コアラに来てくれてありがとう。　コアラから金メダルとプレゼントをあげます。

はなちゃんは１歳の時にコアラに来ました。　ぬいぐるみを小脇に抱えて、ママの後ろから顔を出して様子を見ていましたね。
アレルギー体質もあり食べ物には気を使いました。　お菓子はママに聞いてから、はなちゃん用のおせんべいも用意していました。　あれから２年、はなちゃんは変身しました。　コアラのボス的存在になりました。　自分で決めたことは何でもやり通すでしょう。　これは変わらないと思います。

３歳まで過ごしたコアラは子供達の記憶には残っていません。　子供達は成長するにつれて友達を変えて行くでしょう。　でもこの時期の子供を知ってくれているのはママ友です。　年賀状のやり取りだけでも良いので細く長く繋がっていて下さい。　思春期になった子供たちに悩んだ時、きっと役に立ちます。

入会；　黄　白露さん（中国）義理のお母さんと参加しました。　ようこそ　コアラへ！！

There are many participants in the event because of a good weather.  As we welcomed someone after a long separation and a new member, introduced children.  Koala started from a song "Good Morning".  Children answered with full of vigor.

Miyajima san is in charge of the event "Make Valentine Card for Papa!".  She mailed to members to bring your child's picture and seals and Koala prepares materials other than that.

Well, well・・・How does it work?  LOVE, LOVE around the picture.  The picture is surrounded with Heart Mark.  Cutting hand-shaped Origami are pasted ・・・ Splendid Valentine Cards for Papa were completed.  Each of them were a work of great individuality.
Papa must be delighted to get your card!!  He must be happy to have a good family.  At the critical moment!!

Fujiwara san cooked Chinese Seafood rice porridge and Chinese fried rice for a member who delivers a baby in the next month.  She cooked for us too.  In general, some child had only a light meal but they ate a lot. 
All members cheered up to her, "Fight! Give birth to baby boy.  We are waiting for you.  Come back."

A Koala member gave Valentine sweets for us.  Thank you very much.  I will bring leftover next Koala meeting.

Birthday Party;
Ayane; two years old girl was born on Valentine Day.  Happy Birthday to you.  Give you Koala Medal and Birthday Card.  Let's sing Happy Birthday song for her. ♫
Ayane is an active girl but she seems sleepy now.

An early Send Off Party;
Hana; She finishes Koala today because of her mama's delivery.  Thank you for coming to Koala. Give you a Gold medal and gift from Koala.
Hana came to Koala when she was one year old.  She'd always carried stuffed doll and looked children from her mama's back.  I cared snack for her allergic to food.  After two years passed, Hana changed dramatically and became a leader of children.  She will stick to anything what she wants.  I think it's her native.

Children won't remember about Koala.  Child will change her friend according to her growth.  Only mama's friend in Koala knows in her infancy.  Please keep in touch with your Koala friend forever.  This connection will help you when you would face troubles of your child's adolescence.

２月５日節分の豆まき（ボール投げ）の報告（Setubun, scatter perched beans to drive out bad luck.)

今日は朝からみぞれから雪にかわりとても寒いです。　午後から大雪になる予報です。　無理して来なくてもいいよ。　それでも１２人の大人と子供達が集まりました。

♫　福は内　鬼は外、パラッ、パラッ、パラッと豆の音、鬼はこっそり逃げて行く　♫

予定では鬼のお面をかぶった大人が籠を背負って走り、子供達はかごに向かってボールを投げ入れる予定でしたが難しい様です。　皆が出来る様に、壁に鬼のお面を張り付け、それに向かってボールを投げました。　それでは飽き足らず、子供達がお面をかぶりました。　「鬼だ～。　ガオッ, ガオッ。こわいぞ～」とポーズをとりました。　大人がお面をかぶると泣いていた赤ちゃんが、子供たちがお面をかぶったら笑うのです。　面白いですね。

女の子たちが「おやつはまだ？いつ？」と催促に来ました。　節分の豆菓子を皆で食べました。
副代表の藤原さんが中国から帰ってきました。　お土産はドライフルーツ７種類（いちご、ラズベリー、梨、桃、ゴマのゼリーなど）可愛いケースに入っていました。　「桜桃」は何だろう？？　食べたら「チェリー」でした。　ヘルシーなおやつを美味しく頂きました。　謝謝

人数が少ないのでお部屋が広く使えます。　子供達と鬼ごっこをしました。　夢中で逃げる子供達の体力に鬼役の私は負けました。　こっそり逃げます。　バイバイ～

お茶も頂いてコアラの会を終わりました。

The sleet changed into snow in this morning.  Afternoon's weather forecast is for heavy snow.  You don't have to force to come; nevertheless, 12 adults and children gathered.

♫Fuku wa uchi, Oni wa soto, Para, para,para,mame no oto, Oni wa kosori nigeteiku♫  This means that "The happiness comes in, the demon gets out, Pra, para, para the sound of scattering beans, the demon slides out of the house."

The initial plan was that an adult is wearing the demon's mask and carry a laundry basket on her back is running.  Children throw balls into the basket.  But this way was difficult for Koala group's children.  So, we changed the plan to paste the demon masks on the wall.  Children threw the balls to the demon masks.   Some of them were not satisfied with this way and they wore the demon masks on their faces and said, "I am a demon.  Gao~, Gao~, Scare you!"  When I wore a demon mask, babies cried out, on the contrary, babies laughed to see children's masks.  It is interesting phenomenon.

Little girls pressed me, "Snack is not yet!"  Then, we had sweet beans.
A vice president Fujiwara san returned from China.  Her gifts were 7 kinds of different dry fruits (Strawberry, Raspberry, Pear, Peach, Sesame Jelly etc.) and its cases were precious.
What is "Sakura momo?".  It was the Cherry.  We had a delicious, healthy snack.  Thank you so much.

We could use the room widely because of a small membership.  I played tag with children for a while and gave up their power of runaway.  I, a demon steals away from a room.  Bye-bye.

We finished Koala event after having tea.
