５月１０日パフェ作りの報告（Let's make your Parfait! )

毎年、パフェ作りは参加費として一家族１００円～２００円の実費を貰っていました。 今年は違います。　

長濱和枝さんがパフェ作りの経費を全て出してくださいます。　会員は友達を連れてきてもいいです。　コアラ会員にならなくてもいいのです。　食べるだけでも良いのです。　家族一つではなく、食べたいだけ食べていいのです。　お代わりも自由です。　私は休みがちのコアラ会員に電話をしました。　

ボランティアはアイスクリームの２０００mlボックスを２箱用意しました。　トッピングはチョコレート、ココアパウダー、バナナ、あん、フルーツの缶詰など２５種類のトッピングがあります。　カンボジア、中国、台湾、フィリピンのトッピングもあります。　自分で持ってきたカップは大きな物から小さなものまでありました。　それぞれが工夫して「マイ　パフェ」を作りました。　皆お腹いっぱい食べました。　それでもアイスクリームが残ってしまいました。　

お金を出してくださった長濱和枝さんにお礼の色紙を贈ります。　中央に写真を入れて皆で一言メッセージを書き込みました。　きっと熱い思いが伝わると思います。　長濱さん、本当に有難うございまいした。　

寺田マリベスさんはフィリピンの春巻きを作って持ってきてくれました。　揚げたては暖かくて美味しかったです。　ごちそう様でした。

参加者はビジターを含めて５０名以上でした。　楽しかったね！

５月の誕生日パーティは；
後藤晴己君　３才、後藤陸也君　１才　兄弟です。　お誕生日おめでとうございます。＼_(^◇^)_／＼(*^^*)／ おめでとっ！　♬　皆でお誕生日の歌を歌いお祝いしました。　♫

古和田昌子さん、お久しぶりですね。　おかえりなさい！

 Koala used to collect 100yen~200yen for a family to make pafait every year. But this year's event is different.

Thankfully, Nagahama Kazue san pays all expenses on making parfait. Members also bring their freinds. They don't have to join our club. It is OK they just have pafaits. You can eat what you want. You may have another cup of parfait. I called Koala member who were absentees.

Volunteer staff prepared two boxes of 2000ml ice cream. There are 25 kinds of topping like chocolate, cocoa powder, banana, bean paste, fruit can and etc. There are topping from Cambodia, China, Taiwan and Philippine too. There were "My cup" from big cups to small cups that they brought in. So called "My pafait" was made by themselves. We were full up. Still, ice cream was leftovers.

We wrote "thank you message" to Nagahama Kazue san who contributed us. I put a picture in the center, members wrote words around a picture. I'm sure she is willing to have our appreciation. Thank you very much, Nagahama san.

Terada Maribesu san cooked Philippine style Harumaki. A fried Harumaki was warm and delicious. Thank you for your foods.

 Participants were more than 50 people including visitors. We spend enjoyable time.

May birthday Party; Haruki Goto 3 years old, Rikuya Goto 1 year old. They are brothers. Happy Bithday to you. ♫　We sung a birthday song to them. ♫

４月２６日災害時の避難とこどもの日のかぶと作りの報告（How to flee from the disaster and making SAMURAI helmet for the Children's day)

 昨日から雨が降り続いています。　今日は災害時の備えや避難場所を確認するイベントです。　日本人母子８組と外国人母子７組が集まりました。

＊　南関東の地震発生の確率は数年前は「３０年以内に７０％」でしたが昨年夏には「４年以内に７０％」と発表され慌てましたね。　現在は「４年以内に５０％以下」に訂正されました。　少し安心かな？
＊　現在５４基ある原子力発電所は点検や寿命の為、今年のうちに全て停止します。　日本政府は原子力発電所を動かしたいですが国民は反対しています。
＊　火力発電所は石油を使用しています。　輸入先は中東のイラン、サウジアラビア、クウェート、カタールです。　イラン政府はオイル船を通さないようにホルムズ海峡を封鎖しようとしています。　そうなると日本での電気料金は値上がりします。
＊　日本での自然エネルギーを考えています。　日本各地にある温泉は火山のエネルギーがあり
ます。　その場所は国定公園なので許可が必要です。　日本は海に囲まれているから海底の天然ガスもとれます。　風力発電やソーラー発電も可能です。

中原区の防災避難地図を見ながら自分たちはどの学校に避難するのか確認してもらいました。　誰がどこの学校に避難しているか覚えておけばお互いに助け合うことが出来ます。　避難所暮らしが長くなると色々な人が一緒に暮らすのでストレスが貯まる。　子供の泣き声が気になる。　外国人差別もおきるらしい。　

＊　地震がきたらまず慌てないで周りを良く見ること。
＊　子供や自分の頭を守ること。
＊　お風呂やトイレに入っていたら慌てて出てこない方がいい。　狭い場所の方が安全。　その場で揺れが収まるのを待つ。
＊　家具や電化製品の倒壊で亡くなる人が多かったので固定しておく。
＊　「汐」「須」「沼」など水にちなんだ地名はちょっと危ない。

皆さんの家でどんな対策をしていますか？

＊　災害セットを買った。
＊　食器棚の突っ張り棒を付けた。
＊　簡易トイレを買った。
＊　お風呂の水を溜めている。（子供が溺れるのが心配でやめた人もいた）
＊　室内でスリッパを履くようになった。
＊　懐中電灯、ラジオ、電池を買った。

お茶の時間です。　ちょっと休みましょう！

５月５日はこどもの日です。　こどもの日にちなんで古新聞で「かぶと」を作りましょう。　とても簡単です。

許　梅姸さん、５ヶ月ぶりですね。　おかえりなさい。　クーシンさんの友達中国の万さんが初めてコアラにこられました。　ようこそ！
It has been raining from yesterday. Today's event is "How to flee from the disaster and confirm your shelter." Koala held the meeting with foreigner 8 couples and Japanese 8 couples attending.

 * An earthquke possibility in South Kanto was "70% within 30 years" a few years ago and then announced "70% within 4 years" in last summer that made us all in a fluster. It changed "less than 50% within 4 years" at the present. We are relieved a little bit!
* There are 54 units of the nuclear power plants and all of them will stop in this year because it has outlived its usefulness and its regular services. Japanaese goverment want to operate the nuclear power plants again but people are objection.
* The thermal power station use the oil. Japan import the oil from the Middle East of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar. Iranian government try to stand in our oil vessel way at Strait of Hormuz. Accordingly, A rise in the charges of electricity seems likely.
*Japanese are thinking about the natural energy. A lot of thermal spring exist through Japanese archipelago and it has volcanic energy. Require special permission because these places are designated the National park. Japan is surrounded by the sea so that we can get natural gas from the seabed. It is possible we have wind power generation and solar heating system.

We confirmed which school we shelter from the disaster seeing Nakahara Emergency Evacuation Map. We could help each other if we would know who is in which school. The longer we live in the shelter with neighbors, the more we have stresses and strains. It might happen an offensive baby's cry and racial discrimination.

 * When an earthquake hit, don't panic and watch around you.
* Protect you and your children's heads.
* If you are in the toilet or bathroom, don't get out of there. The small place is rather safe. Wait until a tremor is stop.
* Fasten the furniture and electrical appliances because a lot of people died in fallen things.
* It might be dangerous places which have the name of "sio" "su" "numa" that connect with water.

What do you prepare against the disaster?

* I bought "The disaster set" at the store.
* I furnished the cupboad with props.
* I bought a instant toilet.
* I store a bathwater. (I am anxious children are nearly drowned.)
* I and my family have our slippers on at home.
* I bought flashlight, radio and battery.

May 5 is the children's day in Japan. Let's make Samurai Helmet using used newspaper for children's celebration. It is very easy.

Kyo Meiken san, welcome back to Koala after an interval of five months. Chinese Man san who is a Kusin san's friend visited to Koala for the first time. Welcome!

【特】４月２２日（日）日本の美しい着物を着よう！の報告（Dress up a beautiful Japanese KIMONO!）

【外国人だけの特別企画】
「日本の美しい着物を着よう！」のイベントにコアラから９家族が参加しました。　毎年、インテックス（国際ボランティア団体）が高津市民館の和室で行なっています。　参加費は無料で１０年続いています。　外国人には楽しみのイベントです。　参加者はコアラと日本語教室の皆さんとそのご家族ですので毎回５０名以上になります。　 会員が自分の着物を持ち寄りました。「外国人に日本の文化を！　着なくなった着物を寄付してください。」と新聞に載せたこともあります。

女性の着物は振袖（未婚者用）、訪問着（既婚者用）男性の着物は着物と袴、女児は１才から１０才までの着物、男児は１才から７才までの着物が用意されています。


女性は一人づつ化粧をしてもらいます。　口紅、アイシャドーをしてもらうと別人の様に美しいです。　髪もアップしてもらい髪飾りを付けてもらいます。　コアラではすっぴんのママたちを見ているので誰か分からないぐらい綺麗です。　着物は自分で選んで、着付け専門の人に着せてもらいます。　ママたちは独身気分です。
美の競演　Taiwanese beauty, Malaysian beauty, Spanish Papa, Cambodian beauty, Chinese beauty, Mongolian beauty.

着物を着てうっとりしている姿をフェイスブックに載せる人、グリーティングカードにして母国のご両親や友達に送る人、携帯の待受画面に貼り付ける人もいます。　フィリピンの新聞社に写真を送って着物を着たフィリピンの女性達が新聞に掲載されたこともありました。

【Special event for Foreigners】
Koala members of nine persons and their families participated the event of "Dress up a beautiful Japanese KIMONO!" INTEX group (International volunteer group) have been conducted it for ten years free of charge at Takatu shiminkan Japanese room every year. It is a great treat for foreigners to dress up Kimono. Participants in the event are more than 50 people from Koala group and Japanese Classes of thier families every time. We brought our used Kimono for this event. We put a message " A part of Japanese culture for foreigner! Please donate your used Kimono for our group." in the newspaper. We prepare for women's clothes; long-sleeved kimono for Miss and short-sleeved kimono for Mrs. and man's clothes; kimono and Hakama (long pleated culotte-like Japanese trousers) girl's kimonos are from 1 year old to ten years old and boy's kimonos are from 1 year old to 7 years old.

Ladies are made up their faces one by one by volunteer staff．After they use lip rouge and eye shadow, they turn into beautiful ladies. They were put their hair up and wear on head dress. I hardly notice who they are because they never wear any make-up at Koala. She selects her favorite Kimono and Kimono profession dress her nicely. They look like they are in a single woman mood. Someone put her glamourous picture on the facebook. Someone make her beautiful picture to greeting card and send to her parents and friends. Someone gets her fascinating picture on a cellular phone. Philippine ladies send their Kimono picture to The Philippine's newspaper and appeared in their homeland paper.

４月５日桜花見会の報告（The cherry view picnic)

さくらの木は二ヶ領用水（灌漑用水路・１００年ぐらい前に作られた小川）に沿ってずっと植えてあります。この時期、桜見物の人たちで賑わいます。川沿いのあちらこちらで桜まつりが行われています。　

コアラも自治会館で桜花見会を行いました。　もう７年間同じ場所でお花見会をやっています。　ボランティアスタッフはダンボールを敷いてマットを広げて場所取りをしました。　１０時に場所が分からない人と中原区役所で待ち合わせしました。　半年ぶりにコアラに参加する人もいました。　


私はシャボン玉を飛ばして子供たちと遊びました。　シャボン玉を見ているだけで動かない１歳児、シャボン玉を追いかける２歳児、自分もやりたがる３歳児。　子供たちは順調に成長しています。　ママたちはおしゃべりしながら友達作りをしていました。　

今日から参加される藤塚さん、渡辺さん、リンさん、河村さん　ようこそコアラへ！！(-^〇^-)　
外国人１４組、日本人１２組の親子が集まりました。　全員で５５名でした。　

散歩している近所の人が子供たちを見て「かわいいね～」と声をかけてくれました。　皆でお弁当を分け合いながら食べて自由解散でした。　美しい風景とみんなで食べるお弁当、とても楽しいお花見会でした。
There are cherry trees all along to the Nika Ryoyosui which was made for an irrigation canal several decades ago. In this season, a lot of sightseers enjoy watching the cherry blossoms. The cherry blossom Festival (Sakura maturi) takes place here and there, all along the stream.

Koala group also had the cherry blossom view picnic at Jichi kaikan. We have the same event at the same place for seven years. Volunteer staffs reserved the place putting corrugated paper.
I went to Nakahara ward office to meet members at 10:00. Some members came to see us after an interval of six months.

I played with children blowing bubbles. Do not move and just watch soap bubble is a child of one year, chasing soap bubble is a child of two years and want to blow bubble by himself is a child of three years. Children are growing up well. Mamas enjoyed talking with friends.

We had 14 pairs of foreign mother and child and 12 pairs of Japanese and totaled 55 persons. Passing by neighborhood said to children "How adorable children you are!" We shared our picnic lunch boxes. We enjoyed scenery and lunch all together.
