小嶋蘭銀さんの奏でる中国楽器「古筝（ぐうぜん）の独奏会」をみんな楽しみにしていました。 あいにく、昨夜から大雨です。 結婚を期に中国から大切な古筝を持参されたようです。 ボランティアの高久マリーナさんが楽器の運搬を手伝ってくれました。 遅ればせながら１３組みの親子が集まりました。
演奏の曲目は
１、天涯歌女 演奏の内容は「ひとりの女性が生活費を稼ぐ為に琵琶を弾いて歌を歌い、小銭をもらいながら旅をする悲しい歌です。」
２、浪淘沙 演奏の内容は「海辺で波が寄せては砂を海に運んでいく様子を奏でる。」
蘭銀さんの心を込めて古筝を演奏されている姿はとても美しかったです。 大人も子供も静かに聞き入っていました。 いつもチョロチョロ動き回る子供たちもじっとしていたのは美しい音楽の所為でしょうか。
「古筝」は日本の弦楽器「琴」に似ています。 元々、奈良時代に中国から伝わりました。 古筝の弦は１２・１６．２１弦の種類がありますが、日本の琴は１３弦です。 どちらも右手の親指、人差し指、中指に義甲（爪）をはめて弾きます。
独奏会が終わり、みんなで中国のお菓子を食べ、ジャスミン茶を頂きました。

Koala members were looking forward to listening Chinese musical instrument "GUZEN" playing by Ms. Ranin Kojima. Unfortunately, the rain continued on yesterday night. She brought a precious Guzen from China when she got married. Our volunteer staff Takaku Marina san helped her carry one. Finally, 13 pairs of mother and child gathered at Koala room.
The number of performances were
1, TENGAI UTAI ME The contents of this; "A woman has been traveling to make her living by singing and playing the LUTE. This is sorrowful melody."
2, ROU TOU SA The contents of this; "The waves washed against the beach and carried the sand away."
Ranin San was very beautiful when she performed Guzen with her whole heart. Not only adults but children listened closely. Children used to scamper around us but they were quiet because of wonderful melody.
"GUZEN" is similar to the stringed instrument Japanese "KOTO". It was originally descended from China in the Nara period (in the 8 century). The Guzen has three kind of types of 12, 16, 21 strings but Japanese Koto has only 13 strings. Both are played with picks in her right thumb, forefinger and middle finger.
After the recital, we had Chinese sweet and drank the jasmine tea.
