２月９日(木)マリ共和国ってどんな国？教えて田中さん！（What is Republic of Mali like? Teach us Tanaka san!)

田中さんご家族は２０１９年から２０２２年までアフリカ・マリ共和国に住んでおられました。　

普段、私たちは行くことが出来ない国なので、田中さんが経験された異文化交流体験をお話して頂きました。

➀マリ共和国の地図

②マリ共和国ってどんなところ？

　首都はバマコ。日本の面積の３．３倍で６５％が砂漠。

７か国に囲まれている。　

言語はバンバラ語、フランス語。宗教はイスラム教８０％、カトリック教５％、伝統宗教１５％

　

人口は約２０００万人、若い世代が多い。

③マリには世界遺産が４つあります。　危険な場所にあるので行っていません。

④マリの食べ物

　トマトとなすを煮たもの、ういろみたいな物、穀物、パテ(大餃子)、炊き込みご飯

　金曜日のお祈りの日に配られる食べ物はタクラと言う蒸しパンみたいなものです。

⑤マリの家族　/ 結婚式と洗礼式

　結婚式はオープン式で誰でも参加できる。　知らない人もご飯を食べに来た人もいる。

➅GRIN(グリン）/  楽器

　楽器のヤラバ、ジェンベ、コタバラニを持参して見せて貰いました。

⑦BOGOLAN(ボゴラン）/ BAZIN(バゼン）

 　泥染めーボゴランは民族衣装(大人は服の丈が長く、若い人は短い）、

　バゼンも民族衣装(綿１００％で布はヨーロッパから輸入)刺繍などするので豪華な

　民族衣装。女性の服の方が高い。男性、女性両方あります。

　＊家族３人同じ色で服を作りたかったが男女の形も色も違うのでそれはおかしい！と言われた。パパと子供、ママと子供の服を作った。

⑧首都バマコの遊び場(子供向け)　/ スーパー

　日本の様に自由に入れる公園は無い。　バマコの遊び場で金・土・日の夕方からオープン

　しているのはマリ最大級の遊園地ルナパークです。　昼間は暑くて遊べない。

　スーパーでは日本の物はキッコーマン醬油と味の素位しかない。　

中国人が多く住んでいるので、中華料理の食材が売られているので日本人も助かった。

　田中さんによる楽器ジェンベの演奏。

さすが！！アフリカのリズムです。　

　見たこともない楽器を子供達も順番に叩かせてもらいました。両手で叩く子、片手でポンで終わりの子。みんな可愛いです。コラやラニも触らせて貰いましたね。

　最後に試食、試飲会です。

バオバブの実から取れたパウダーをヨーグルトにかけて食べました。体に良いそうです。

バオバブ・イチゴジュースとビサップ(ハイビスカス)ジュースも試飲しました。

食べた事も見たこともない食品ですが全員が試しました。子供達はビサップジュースがお気に入りでどの子も唇が赤紫に染まっていました。

田中さん、貴重な経験をさせて頂きありがとうございました。

コアラ卒業生にもメールして平日なのに８名の方が参加して下さいました。久しぶりの同窓会でした。

A family of Tanaka san had lived in Republic of Mali from 2019 to 2022.  Tanaka san told us her experiences of different culture in Mali where we were not able to go.

1, Map of Republic of Mali.

2, What's Republic of Mali like?

   Capital is Bamako.  Area: three times of Japan and 65% desert.  Surrounded by

   seven countries.  Languages: Bambara and French.  Religion: Islamic 80%, 

   Catholic 5%, Local 15%.   Population: 20 million, a large number of young people.

3, Four World Heritage sites in Mali. (didn't go in the dangerous places)

4, Food in Mali.

    boiled tomato and eggplant, something like a sweet rice jelly, cereals, putty,

    rice seasoned with soy sauce and boiled with meat.  ”TAKURA" are served by 

    on Pray day of Friday.

5, Family / Marriage/Baptism.

    Anyone can attend at the wedding ceremony.  Unkown persons come to eat food.

6, GRIN / Musical instrument

    Showed a yaraba, a djembe and kotabalani.

7, BOGOLAN / BAZIN

    mud-dyeing

    Bogolan is for men's traditional costume.  (the length of Bogolan: long for adult

    and short for younger.

    Bazin is for women's traditional costume. (100% cotton from Europe.  Gorgeous        embroiders are expensive.)  Both can be shared.

    *She wanted to make a traditional costume in same color for her family.  The 

    tailer said, "it is strange because man and woman have different color and

    pattern. 

8, Playground for children in Bamako / Supermarket

    There is no free park like Japan.  Pay state park named "Runa park" is available

    only Friday, Saturday and Sunday from the evening because of heat.

    There are only Kikkoman Soy sauce and Ajinomoto from Japan.  Since many

    Chinese have been lived there, Japanese could buy Chinese food materials.

Children also touched Djembe that they've never seen before.  Child beats a drum with both hands and others beat with one hand.  They are so cute.  They touched another instrument.

Finally, we had a sampling party.

We had yogurt with Baobab powder and Baobab and Strawberry juice and Bisap (Hibiscus) juice.  We've never seen and tasted those unusual food so far.  We got new experience today.  Children's lips were dyed red-purple color.

Thank you Tanaka san.  You gave us precious experience.  Koala graduate of eight attended so that we had an alumni reunion at the restaurant.

２月２日節分の報告（Setubun. The bean-scattering ceremony)

いつもの様にマットを敷いて玩具を出しました。　

ボードに鬼のお面を張り付けました。

日本の伝統的なお祭りで「鬼は外、福はうち」と言いながら豆を投げます。昔から歌もあります。「おにはそと、ふくはうち　ぱらっぱらっぱらっぱらっ豆の音　鬼はこっそりにげていく」　

コアラでは豆の代わりにボールを投げました。　子供達は興奮してボールを投げていました。

　

鬼をやっつけた子供は「お疲れさんのお菓子」を貰いました。大人にはジャスミン茶。　

「あれ～市販のジャスミンティーと味も香りもちがう！　おかわり下さい。」

【９日のイベントの予習を少ししました】

マリ共和国はどこにありますか？　アフリカの西側です。　バオバブの大きな木があります。　バオバブの実からパウダーがとれますのでヨーグルトにかけて食べます。バオバブ蜂蜜でも美味しい。ビサップ(ハイビスカス）ジュースとバオバブジュースの試飲もありますのでヨーグルト用の皿とスプーン、紙コップを持参して下さい。

【誕生日会】

えりちゃん　３歳、　レン君２歳　　お誕生日おめでとうございます。　コアラのお誕生日カードとコアラメダルを差し上げます。　皆でお二人の成長を願って「ハッピーバースデーの歌」を歌ってお祝いしましょう。

えりちゃんは皆が歌っている顔をじっと見ながら笑顔で幸せをかみしめていました。　３歳になると自分がお祝いされているのが分かるのでとても嬉しそうです。

レン君は入会してすぐにお誕生日でしたね。今回で２回目です。私とは良いお友達です。時々玩具を持って来てくれます。

We spread mats on the floor and put toys as usual.  Posting demon masks on the board.  It is Japanese traditional Festival that we throw beans saying, "out with the devil, in with good fortune."  This has a song, too.  Koala children threw balls instead of beans with exciting.  Kids got sweet and adults had Jasmin tea.  "Wow, it is quite different taste and flavor from goods on the market.  May we have another tea, please"?

[We prepared lessons for the next event]

Where is Republic of Mali?  It locates the west of Africa.  There are many Baobab trees.  You can get some power from Baobab fruit.  We will have a testing Hibiscus Juice and Baobab juice so bring your bowl with spoon and paper cup.

[Birthday party]

Eri, three years old girl and Ren, two years old boy.  Happy Birthday to you!  Give you Koala Birthday card and Koala Medal.  Let's sing a song "Happy Birthday to you" together for their happiness.

Eri kept watching people singing faces and confirmed her happiness.  She seemed very happy to celebrate her birthday.

Ren was celebrated his birthday as soon as he joined Koala so this was the second time.  He is a good friend of me and brings some toy.

１月２６日楽しく踊ろうハワイアンフラダンスの報告（Let's dance Hawaiian Hula!)

 １０年に一度の寒波到来。　

日本海側は雪の被害で出ている昨今です。心配しています。

今日のイベントは常夏のハワイ・フラダンスを楽しみます。係はコアラ代表米澤が行います。　　私はフラダンスが大好きで、もう２０年間習っています。フラはジェスチャーで表現しますので手、指の動きが大切です。上半身は動かさず、下半身を揺らしリズムをとります。笑顔でそして裸足で踊ります。

２０名分のフラドレス、髪飾り、フラワーレイを用意しました。荷物が６個になり、会員が自転車で引き取りに来てくれました。助かりました。

　全員がフラダンスの未経験者でしたので、　　私が「ハナミズキ」ハワイ語版を最初におどりました。騒いでいた子供たちまでもしーんとなり、見つめていたのが印象的でした。

　クールダウンしている間に会員にもドレスを着てもらいました。若いママ達はとても綺麗です。皆嬉しそうです。　

　皆さんには「To you sweetheart, Aloha! 」を踊ってもらいました。笹間さんに歌詞を読んでもらいながら少しづつ振りを覚えました。　

本番は皆上手に踊れましたね。動画を取っている人もいました。

「思いっきりフラガールです！！」　

終わってもなかなかドレスを脱ごうとしませんでしたね。　　

【感想】

＊フラダンス楽しかったです。可愛いフラの服を着て、念願だったので子供を放って楽しんでました。　子供も少し踊っている様子で興味を持てたのでしょう。沢山飾り付けて人一倍楽しんでいた様な気がします。米澤さん、有難うございました。衣装を沢山用意して頂き、運んで下さった皆様も有難うございました。　　

＊フラダンス大人が皆楽しんでましたよね。　米澤さんも本当素敵でした。有難うございました。　　

＊子供が寝不足でぐずっていたのでずっと屋外で子守をしていたのですが米澤さんの見本のフラダンスはじーと興味深そうにずっと見ていました。私も米澤さんの踊り、本当にハワイにいる様な優雅な踊りで見とれてしまいました。　今度はちゃんと踊りたいです。

＊フラダンスに皆釘付け！おもちゃの事をすっかり忘れて大人も子供も米澤さんの素晴らしいフラダンスに夢中でした。ゆったりして素敵な時間が過ごせて素晴らしい経験となりました。

＊普段、身に着けることが出来ない綺麗な衣装や髪飾りを貸していただいて、見よう見まねでしたが、人生初のフラダンスを皆さんと踊る事が出来てとても楽しかったです。フラダンスを踊ってる時の米澤さんの表情が本当に素敵で、身体の動きだけでなく、表情も含めてフラダンスなんだな～と思いました！また是非皆さんとフラダンスしたいです。

＊子供達も興味を持ってじっと見ているね。

＊本当のフラ、初めて見ました。素敵です。

＊手の動きだけでなく、米澤さんの表情にも感動しました。有難うございました。

【誕生日会】

こうき君　３歳、ことはちゃん　２歳　お誕生日おめでとうございます。　

コアラバースデーカードとコアラメダルを差し上げます。皆で「ハッピーバースデーの歌」を歌ってお二人の成長をお祝いしましょう。

今まで沢山のお友達の誕生会を見て来たのでお祝いされる幸せを知っているね。　嬉しそうに皆を眺めて「ママのは？」と笑わせてくれましたね。

　ことはちゃんは初めての参加でした。誕生日のお祝いが分からず不安なお顔でした。泣かせてしまってごめんなさいね。もうお友達が出来たとママは大満足でした。

ちなみに、「コアラ」は１９９６年１月９日に生まれましたので２７歳の誕生日でした。

Reached a wave of cold weather once in a decade.  Districts along the Sea of Japan affected by the heavy know these days.  I'm concerned about people who live in.

Koala founder Yonezawa is in charge of today's event "Let's enjoy Hawaiian Hula Dance".  I have been practicing Hula for 20 years.  Hands and fingers motion are important for Hula.  Your upper part of body doesn't move but the lower of yours swing.  You dance with smile and bare feet.  I love Hula!  I prepared Hula dresses, Hair ornaments, flower Leis for 20 people.  Thankfully, members picked up six baggage.  As they didn't know Hula, I performed "Hanamizuki" in Hawaiian language.  I was impressed by children's attitude.  They stopped playing toys and kept watching me.  While I was cooling down, members changed in Hula dress.  Young mothers were so beautiful and looked so happy.  They tried to dance "To you sweetheart, Aloha".  Sasama san read the lyrics.  They remembered each posture of a dance and had done very good job.  Someone took video shooting.  They could be Hula girl!  Oh, hit a spot.  Nobody wanted to take off dress.

*I enjoyed Hula from the bottom of my heart.  As I wanted to wear cute Hula dress, my dream came true.  My son seemed to have pleasure with lots of Hawaiian ornaments and was copying to dance.  Thanks to Yonezawa san and carrier for baggage.

*All adults were happy by pretty dresses.  Yonezawa san was so lovely.

*I was outside of the room because my son grizzled his lack of sleeping.  When Hula dance started, he kept watching.  I wanted to join dancing.  I thought I were in Hawaii and watched Hula performance.

*Hula performance nailed us to the spot.  Not only adult but also children were absorbed in Yonezawa san's Hula.  It was a great experience to see it.

*Yonezawa san let Hula dress, Hair ornament use for us.  I danced following Yonezawa san's example.  This was the first experience in my life.  I enjoyed dance with all mates.  The appearance of Yonezawa san dancing Hula was really elegant.  I thought Hula connected with not only dancer's movement but one's appearance.  I want to try again.

*Everybody loves Hula dress and dance.

*Children also stood with their eyes on the performance.

*I saw Hula for the first time.  It was wonderful.

*I was impressed by Yonezawa san's hand motion and expression.

[Birthday Party]

Kouki three years old boy and Kotoha two years old girl.  Happy Birthday to you.  I'll give you Koala Birthday card and Koala Medal.  Let's sing a song "Happy Birthday to you" together for their happiness.

Koki was celebrated birthday two times here!?  He knows how happy many friends give him happy birthday song.  He kept watching people singing for him and said, "how about my mom?" we laughed.

Kotoha was there for the first time and an anxious look on her face.  Sorry, give you cry.  Her mom was satisfied to get to know many friends.

In this connection, KOALA was born in 1996 Jan. 9, so Koala reached 27 years old.

１月１２日新年会・年末年始はどの様に過ごしましたかの報告（New Year Party/How do you send Year-end and New Year holidays?

２０２３年　令和５年　明けましておめでとうございます。　　　　　　

今年も国際子育てひろば「コアラ」をよろしくお願いいたします。

新年会なのでお正月の飾りつけをしました。

飾り物の「獅子舞い」を怖がって大泣きした子供がいましたね。　　

*年末年始の報告は　　

家族で病気になり里帰りが出来なかった人、身内に不幸があった人、３年経ってやっと曾おじいさんに会うことが出来た人、韓国に行って楽しんだ人、七福神巡りをした人、どこにも行かなかった人、日本で初めてクリスマスやお正月を体験した人、フィリピン帰国中、１月１日に花火が上がった。　

　

*恒例の３年物の梅ジュースで乾杯！！　　

　

*会食開始；中国、インドネシア、フィリピン、日本の４か国の料理を楽しみました。

チャーハン、海鮮粥、チンジャオロース、酢豚、お煮しめ、のりスープ、おはぎ(中国風)、お節料理(日本風）これは全て副代表の藤原さんが徹夜で作って下さった物です。　子供達の健康を考えて新鮮な食材、オリーブオイルは１回のみ使用。お粥は子供達にも大うけでした。沢山食べてママ大喜びでした。

RISOL春巻きはインドネシアのシィティさん。３０個ぐらいあったかな～。　美味しくてすぐに入れ物が空っぽになりました。

マカロニサラダとフルーツサラダはフィリピンのライザさん。南国のサラダはちょっと甘めに作ってあり美味しかった。

炊き込みご飯、オムレツ、豆腐チョコ、バナナケーキ、ポップコーン、ミカンと市販のお菓子は日本人会員からでした。

１７種類のおかずとお菓子を３２名で食べ尽くしました。　

ご馳走様でした。

健康でよい年になりそうな予感❣

                           A Happy New Year!

All good wishes to you and International Parents and Infants Cross Cultural Group "KOALA".

Decorated New Year's decoration.  Some child cried to see a display "A Lion Mask".

*Member's the end-year and New Year report:

Persons who couldn't return to their parents' house because of sick. A person who had a loss of her relative.  A person who could finally meet her great-grandfather after three years.  A person who enjoyed in Korea.  A person who visits the temples and shrines of the Seven Deities of Good Fortune at the New Year (shichi fukujin meguri).  Nowhere to go.  A person who had first experience for Japanese Christmas and New Year.  A person who returned to Philippine, enjoyed fire work on Jan. 1.

*Toast New Year with a cup of Ume juice.

We enjoyed the dishes from China, Indonesia, Philippine and Japan.

Chinese style fried rice, fresh seafood rice porridge, thin strips of beef sauteed with green pepper, sweer-and-sour pork, simmered food, seaweed soup, soybean flour (Chinese style), traditional Japanese food prepared in advance containing various specified ingredients.  All were made by a vice president Fujiwara san, cooked them all night.  She used fresh food for children's health.  Children loved her porridge.

30 pieces of RISOL (Spring roll) were made by Indonesian Siti san.  Basket of it became empty soon.

Macaroni salad and fruit salad were made by Philippine Riza san.

Rice seasoned with soy sauce and boiled with meat and other savory vegetables, Omelets, Tofu chocolate, Banana cake, popcorn, orange and other sweets from Japanese members.

Participants of 32 ate 17 kinds of dishes and sweets.  Thank you for all.  Everything was so delicious.  We were full stomach.
