今回のメインイベントはイースターです。
イースターがどんな行事かを知りたいというコアラ会員の声からイースターイベントをすることにしました。
イースターの前に、今回から取り入れた日本語以外の言語に触れるミニコーナーからのスタートです。
今回の担当はYさん。ベンガル語の挨拶、「こんにちは」「ごきげんいかがですか」などを教えてくださいました。
This time, our main event is Easter.
We decided to hold an Easter-themed event after some of our Koala members expressed interest in learning more about what Easter is all about.
Before diving into Easter, we started with a new mini segment where we introduce languages other than Japanese.
This time, Y-san was in charge. She introduced some basic greetings in Bengali, such as “Hello” and “How are you?”
また、ベンガル語がどの地域で使われているか、世界で多く使われている言語ランキングではベンガル語は6位などという知識も交えて話してくださいました。大人が夢中になって聞いていました。Yさん、ありがとうございました。
She also shared that Bengali is spoken in certain regions and mentioned that it ranks as the 6th most spoken language in the world. The adults were especially captivated by her talk.

さて、イースターイベントに入ります。
イースターの導入として、イギリス出身のMさんが子ども向けのイースターの絵本を英語で読み聞かせてくださいました。
Now, we moved on to the main Easter event.
To introduce Easter, M-san from the UK read an English picture book about Easter to the children.
その後、エッグハンティングと題してプラスティックケースのたまごに入ったお菓子を大人が隠します。参加者にベビーが多く、ママと一緒に探し、手にたまごを持って見つめている様子がとても可愛かったです。
Next, we held an "Egg Hunt," where adults hid plastic eggs filled with sweets.
Many of the participants were babies, and it was adorable to see them searching with their moms and gazing at the eggs they found in their tiny hands.
一歳後半になるとヒントをもらいながら、積極的に探しに行く姿が見られました。たまごを見つけて大喜び。見つけたたまごを抱え、中身のお菓子を嬉しそうに食べていました。
ちなみにお菓子はたまごボーロとラムネでした。
その後、各自持参したゆで卵にペンでペイントをしました。それぞれの素敵な卵になりました。
Children around 18 months old began to actively search for the eggs with a little help, and their excitement when they found one was priceless. They held their eggs tightly and happily enjoyed the treats inside.
The sweets were baby-friendly egg biscuits and ramune candies.
After the egg hunt, everyone decorated their own boiled eggs using pens they had brought. Each egg turned into a unique and lovely creation.
楽しいイベントになりました。
