６月１８日特別企画・ジャガイモ掘りの報告（potato digging)

先週予定していたジャガイモ堀りは雨の為、延期になりました。　今日の天気予報は曇りのち雨です。　それでもパパ、ママ、お兄ちゃん、お姉ちゃん、赤ちゃんまで３０名が集まりました。　参加家族は日本人、外国人とも６家族でした。　コアラ卒業生家族が３組参加してくれました。　皆大きくなったね。




　
雨に濡れて生き生きしたジャガイモの葉が待っていました。　ジャガイモの茎を引き抜いたらジャガイモが数個くっ付いていました。　子供達は土まみれになり歓声をあげていました。　ジャガイモはスーパーで作っているのではありません。　この様にして畑で育っているのですよ。　子供達にはいい勉強です。　赤ちゃんはパパの懐に抱かれて楽しそうに見ていました。　このジャガイモの種類は「きたあかり」です。　収穫はみんなで分けて持って帰りました。　





Koala special event potato digging was postponed till today because of rain.　Today's weather forecast is cloudy later rain. Papa, Mama, brother, sister and baby of 30 people gathered. Participating families were six families of each Japanese and foreigner. Koala graduated members of three families also gathered.





The leaves were vivid because of rain. When we pulled potato's stem out, a few potatoes followed.　Children shouted for joy finding them. The potato is not produced at the supermarket. It thrives in the field. This is good experience for children.
Baby was in papa's bosom and watching us in a light mood. This sort of potato is "KITA AKARI". We shared all and brought back home.

6月9日 七夕の準備と誕生祝い (Preparation for Tanabata and Birthday celebration)

6月9日は、皆で来る7月7日（七夕）で笹の葉に飾る飾りを作りました。
また、6月生まれの4人の誕生祝いも行いました。

笹かざりと誕生日のお祝いパンが並んでいます。


七夕には、本物の笹の枝を会場に持ち込んで皆で飾り付けを楽しみます。

当日行う浴衣の着付けのリハーサルのため、タイ出身のナッティさんにモデルになってもらおうとしたところ、マリアちゃんとエリカちゃんの二人のお嬢さんが泣き出してしまいました。
お母さんがいつもとちがう格好をしていて怖かったのかな？


誕生日おめでとう！

We made colorful ornaments which will be hung on bamboo branch on Tanabata day.


Natty (Thai) tried to put on yukata (easy summer kimono) as a rehearsal but her two daughters, Maria and Erica, got upset with her wearing unfamiliar costume :)


We celebrated the birthday of 4 children born in June.
Instead of Birthday cake, we made special bread with cream and banana.

６月２日絵本の読み聞かせの報告（Picture books)

雨の中、１２組の親子が参加して絵本の読み聞かせを楽しみました。

1, 子育て交流会にコアラの代表として佐川さん、柴田さん、飯田さんに出席してもらいましたので報告をお　　願いします。　
各団体のリーダーは運営、場所の確保、連絡法などご苦労が多い事が分かりました。　コアラはボﾗ ン ティアさんがして下さるので有難いと思いました。　親子で遊べるリズム体操など教えてもらました。

２、家に居るつもりで絵本の読み聞かせをお願いしました。　以下は絵本の名前と読者です。

皆さん、女優のように感情を込めて読んでくれました。　子供達も引き込まれるように見ていました。
日本語、中国語、英語、タイ語、スペイン語の読み聞かせでした。　コウキ君は田中さんの本が気に入ったようです。　国旗の好きなりんかちゃんは中国語、タイ語、スペイン語の読みのときに反応していましたね。
くれなちゃんはママがスペイン語で歌った時、踊っていましたね。　なつみちゃんはママの英語の朗読を真剣に聞いていました。

It has been raining. Mothers and children of 12 couples enjoyed Koala event "Read a story to the children".

1, Sagawa san, Shibata san, Iida san attended the parenting meeting on behalf of Koala and reported it.
Each group leaders are struggling to make room reservation, management and contact. We are very happy because Koala volunteers have done them. We practiced rhythm exercises with a baby. Even a baby delighted to move. It was good for me to attend.

2, Please read a story to the children as if you were at home.

Mothers read a story to the children as if they were actresses. Children were deeply absorbed in hearing those picture books. Languages were spoken in Japanese, Chinese, English, Thai, Spanish. Kouki loved Tanaka san's picture book. Rinka who knew the national flags loved foreign launguages were spoken. Kurena was dancing when mama sang Spanish birthday song. Natumi listened carefully when her mama read a book in English.

５月１２日折り紙教室の報告（Origami)

今日は雨の一日です。　「何人来てくれるのかな？」と思いながらいつもの様にマットを敷いて待っていました。　久しぶりに中国のお母さんの介護でお休みだった野田クーシンさんが戻ってきました。　子供の背が伸びて大きくなっていました。　日本人５組、外国人２組の参加者で折り紙教室を行いました。
　
折り鶴は７月の世界女性会議に持って行きます。　鶴にメッセージを一言添えてもらいました。「Koala, Peace, Love, Unity, Japan, Women]の文字が書いてありました。　コアラの会から世界中の参加者の皆様へ小さなプレゼントです。
　
新会員に竹田敦穂さんが加わりました。　ようこそコアラへ！
中原区役所子供支援課の江面さんも加わって、折り鶴作りに専念しました。
　
終わると藤原さんの中国のお土産のお菓子とお茶を頂いた。

It rained on and off all day. I was wondering about how many members would come and was waiting for them. Noda Kusin san who took care of her mother in China returned to Koala after a long separation. Her son was getting tall and had grown up in the last five months. We had Origami meeting with five Japanese mothers and children and two foreigners.

I will bring "folded paper crane" to World Women's Conference in July. Members wrote message on it "Koala, Peace, Love, Unity, Japan, Women". This is a small present from Koala for attendance from all over the world.

We welcome a new member Takeda san.　
Ezura san who works for Nakahara ward office joined us and folded paper cranes.
We had Chinese sweets and tea which were Fujiwara san brought us.
